It is now election day in the U.S.A.

Among the most consequential elections not only in U.S. history -- but in world history.
Fasten your seatbelts because there is a very good chance we won't know the winner of the election for days or even longer.

Then comes the second phase.

If Harris wins, Trump's army of lawyers and maga activists are locked and loaded to try to overturn the results, as he tried to do last time.

He's much more prepared for that now but on the other hand he's not currently in power.

The odds of violence at various election linked locations across the country are quite high.

How does this end? Don't know but now it has really started.

One thing is constant in US presidential elections: early reports will announce heavy turnout. Even if the eventual numbers show average turnout.

The reason for these erroneous reports of heavy turnout is because of the great turnover in media, which means that a lot of reporters are seeing their first presidential election. They compare the lines with the lines for the earlier primary election (or the governor's election 2 years before) and the November lines look huge.

So expect early reports of huge turnout, but don't believe those reports.

And if Trump win do you think the left will try to stop him taking office?

You are asking me, again, how this will end?

I think I already submitted an incisive and prescient Topic answering JUST this very question.

If you are asking me to repeat what I have already clearly stated, then:

The end of the world is nigh.

Meaning the Human World, of course.

Some bacteria and archaea may survive, but nothing more.

Yes, I fear that due to this election in 2024...

It will soon be only the extremophiles that shall inherit the wind, I mean the Earth....such as animals like this:

Therefore, Sir, you are entirely justified in instructing members here to, as you so aptly put it....

"fasten your seatbelts" ....

Good advice, for sure!!!!
