Recommendation for skin cancer clinic

Featured Replies

I need treatment for a persistent basal cell carcinoma. If you've had a good experience at any clinic I'd appreciate the contact details.

I treated it myself with Efudex (fluorouracil) and it cleared up really nicely but has come back in a different way.

Plastic surgeon at any government hospital, the busier the better.

I have had three removed in Chiang Rai this way.

CM Ram Wachiraporn or Chatbonchok, spelling probably wrong, both very good.

I can’t remember, I think it was 12-20,000 baht.

I also have liquid nitrogen treatment every 2 months on all pre-cancerous lesions, that’s 400 baht per visit.  I am blonde haired, blue eyed so very susceptible to skin cancer.

I was 13K to have a BCC removed from my ear at a government hospital last year. Surgeon did an excellent job but Bang Saen probably a bit far for you.

Do you mind sharing where you purchased the fluorouracil?

Dr Siri is significantly cheaper if seen at his own clinic on the moat.

Sorry I didn't, my mother still had half a tube left which was prescribed to her in Australia.

Doctor Vachiraporn is your best bet as Dr Chahtbongkotch is currently overseas. Both ladies are totally professional Dermatologists with excellent English communication. I've been a patient of both for the last 15 years, am a chronic skin cancer sufferer. I go to RAM every 2 months. Dr Vachiraporn also has her own clinic on Canal Rd after 5pm. see fb site. Please don't self treat skin cancer problems until you get professional advice, not wise
