November 13, 20241 yr I have a small 2.5inch HHD I want to post to the UK Wife took it to a main post office and when they asked what is in the box she told them, they said no! The explanation was no ‘electronic items’ to be sent through the post to the UK – anyone else heard of this?

The Thai PO doesn't like to send electronics by international mail anywhere, not just to the UK.

If they say no, then it’s a no, if they say yes, then you should be able to send it proving the customs declaration is completed correctly including the HS Code.

It is this end - Thailand - that is the problem, not the UK
