You're using a rather short term spike in the dollar vs. Ruble in 2022 to suggest that the war has all but destroyed the Ruble.  And yet if you look at a long term chart, you'll see the big picture isn't nearly so dramatic.

my friend, shake your head properly, the invasion started in 2014 so I count from there, where am I wrong? russians in 2013 had ruble equal to Thai Baht, now you can see yourself, the task is to make 1 dollar worth of 1-kilogram of ruski roubles, then the war will end without any nukes and casualties, exactly like the collapse of the USSR

it looks like you have so much to say and explain. How to reveal ruski or pro-ruski propagandist. Very easy, when you tell them that the invasion and stealing of Ukrainian lands is wrong he usually says, but the USA attacked Iraq, Yugoslavia, Sirya and so on. because of this  ruski alcoland has the right to invade other countries and steal their land bringing their alco and dictatorship culture just because the USA attacked other countries. ruski alco  will never say, the USA were wrong the world must do something against it and we are not going to repeat it and act like bad USA,  as we are a top country in the world. never ever a single ruski said that

OK, over that period, the Ruble has decreased.  Not as much as if you go back all the way to 2008, so, over time, things have deteriorated for the Ruble.  In 2008, Russia had a war with Georgia and continues to occupy some of that territory, Then the world had a financial crisis that was papered over. Lots of factors came into play to weaken the Ruble.

How has this decline affected the people inside Russia? Russia has oil and natural gas. Russia has minerals. Russia has food.  It seems almost like a closed system.

One of the main causes being the interest rate, currently at 21%

My guess is that the decline has been influenced by a number of factors.  Wars, the financial crisis, sanctions. So yes, the Ruble has declined vs. other currencies.  As for the US dollar?  The Fed playing games, along with other central banks.  They bailed out Wall Street and the banks in 2008, and they've run up trillions of dollars of debt between then and now.  And so far, the dollar has done OK on the global scale because of its reserve currency status. But that scam is almost over.  The BRICS world wants to start using real money, and they have all the real wealth. Oil, gas, minerals, etc. Sooner or later, something will break in the Western world.  As an American with US dollars, I hope it won't happen quite yet.  Trillions of dollars change hands around the world on a continual basis.  Any system challenging the US dollar will have to have the liquidity it provides. So maybe the party can continue for a while.

The collapse of the Ruble is prevented by the high interest rate at 21%. That's  4 or 5 times higher than the current rates in most European  countries and the U.S.

the main reason is the insanity of the new nazi leader  pootin and his complete incapability to understand ecomy. The Brics only exists to buy ruski resources cheaply, Brics is not a military organisation, Brics includes completely enemy countries, India and China for example,  and I support Thailand joining Brics, just to have something cheap from russia, why not take it if they give it for free, of course it would not be for free, but it will be very very cheap

it affects even their salary, if one ruski earned lets say 20 000 roubles, now it turned to be 200 USD, before it was about 700 USD, now no eggs and butter in russian shops, russki thieves steal the butter from the supermarkets in many cities, personally watched it on ruski news

During Cold War guess who was the most vigorous and hawkish anti-Soviets? It was Soviets living abroad.

Nothing changed since:

Famous Solzhenitsyn called US to nuke USSR.

Russians living in Israel openly criticize their Motherland yet don't rush to assimilate into hebrew culture. I saw something similar only with Turks.

BTW: it was expected that nobody from NATO leaders took new Nuclear Dogma of Russia seriously. Again. When will they learn or TzarVlad will stop lecturing?

I thought a supermarket was just a big shop!

Yeah, FF to today, and look at all the whingers and cry babies here about Trump, you'd think by the amount of negative threads and members commenting that he was a loser and nobody supported him when the recent election has just proved olthe opposite.

Do you actually have am opinion of your own based on facts and things that have effected you directly or just make  clownish comments base on MSM headlines?
