I'm reminded of a thai saying. Som nam na.

Inappropriate use of the word.

Inappropriate use of the word "word", "Som nam na" is a phrase, not a word!

in your experience, do you think the young dog chewing things will grow out of it when de-sexed/sterilized

How old is the young dog?    It is not the act of sterilisation that curbs the chewing - it is maturity.

ALL puppies will chew to some degree - some more than others.  Like us, dogs start with 'baby teeth' - and progressively lose them until they have their full set of adult teeth at the age of 7 months.  This teething period is the time when pups are dynamite at chewing.   After this period most (not all) dogs will reduce their chewing.

We have 5 dogs - 1 of our adult French Bulldogs chews constantly - sticks, rocks, kids toys - we have to make sure nothing is left around for her to get (and our dogs have a large lockable yard they live in when we are not around) .

We have a 6 month old pup, that is going through the chewing stage - if he starts to chew something that he shouldn't , we tell him No , then take the item away, and give him a dog toy to continue with...

It will get better in time!

Separating the dogs, and just keeping the older  one is okay too - but as others have said - the physical separation will need to be more than just a locked gate (if you get my drift).

Pet ownership is a privilege - not a right, but it should be fun for all parties.    (don't keep a pet you don't like!)

No, I don't, but up in the mountains where I live, we don't sterilize our male dogs. We think they need all the testosterone they can get to survive up here. We do sterilize our female dogs, which helps in two ways. It, of course, prevents them from having puppies but also reduces the fighting among the male dogs trying for dominance over them. But both our males and females do chew on things when they get a chance.

Always the same stupid arguments when it comes to dogs. I only offer compensation if my dog bites someone outside of my property and that depends on the situation. There are enough stupid people who threaten with a stick as a precaution and wave it in front of their nose, then my dog bites and there is no compensation... My property is fenced in and has warning signs. No one has any business inside the property and it is their own fault if my dog does its job.

"Advanced member" ? Hmmh IMHO everyone knows what "member" means in you case.

Is it too difficult to translate it to English: "Deservedly"

He didn't deserve anything. He was merely unlucky, as all dogs, including soi dogs and stray dogs, have unique personalities. They are individuals.

You got nothing better to do than grammar policing?

I live up on a mountain with no neighbors less than a couple hundred meters near me on either side, and those are Thais living in bamboo huts. All of my stray dogs were picked up on the road leading up the mountain from a small village at the base. I suspect Thais living off the mountain bring their unwanted dogs up here and dump them out. Some of them are with a litter of puppies or even puppies left on their own. And, yes, I do put on the brakes and try to pick up any stray dog I see. That only works some of the time. Most are afraid and run away, off into the jungle. I do carry some dry dog food in my truck, so leave them food. Sometimes, after I've done this with the same dog (who usually stays in the same place, probably waiting for his owner to come back for him) a couple of times, they will trust me enough to let me load them in my truck and take them back to my property. There, I unload them and introduce them to my other dogs, who sniff them up and down, but after that, usually leave them alone and eventually even make friends with them.

So, that's how I have come to have so many dogs.

Thought you'd be amused to know I've started feeding a stray dog which showed up at my back door a few days ago. Despite me chasing it off several times, it kept coming back. Very vocal. Starts barking the second I set foot out of the house. Kind of has this attitude like 'You no get memo? I stay here now. This my new home."

I think it was an extremely foolish idea in the first place. So that's the reason.

You made a decision you were woefully unprepared for. Also I hate thai soi dogs yes. They are dirty disgusting disease spreading problems.

continue to feed them sparingly  and everyday ..  move the food further and further from your house.

in other words   relocate them  took me almost a month to move 3 soi " rats " to an area where they don't come back
