Popular Post Chris Daley Posted December 6, 2024 Popular Post Posted December 6, 2024 For me it was when I came home from work. The boss told me that I will be getting a 6 month contract extension this time and not a full year. The irony is everyone in the office got the same thing and I am still working at the same school after 3 years. But my girlfriend went mental. She started screaming ''If you don't keep this job, we are finished!! We will separate! What's wrong with you? Why don't we just have Thai teachers in Thailand!'' The only person I had opened up to in my life and she is a money hungry tyrant. She realized that she had gone too far and started to act nice again. I didn't say a word. Just ''okay.'' Those words will ring in my ears until the day I die. I obsess over them. I ruminate on that moment. I repeat the words over and over. I think of her as ''the enemy'' now. I made AI image of a plaque with the words on it. Inside the ninth circle, Betrayal is the lowest part of hell. When you are betrayed you have to rebuild yourself. I was a fool. I had to restructure my entire life and view of her from now on. I will never trust another human for as long as I live. I still work at the school. I still get the salary. I still pay the bills. It's just something that the boss says. She even said in a meeting ''So we will be replacing most of you with agency staff... not sure if we can save you all.'' This is just how they speak to you at a Thai school. But that little moment made the mask slip and reveal her as being full of snakes. How about you? When did you realize you had made a mistake in getting married? Or are you one of the lucky ones? 1 2 1 4

Or are you one of the lucky ones? My wife works, has her own business, her own house and car. Never bothered me about finances, she’s a workaholic and gone 10 hours a day, comes home cooks and cleans. Am I lucky? No. I worked hard to find her, tilling through the many desperate women that society has to offer. Chris, I’d suggest you grab your shid and split ASAP and save whatever sanity you have left. 4 1

My second [Thai marriage] keeps going after 15 years. My pension of about 300 Kbaht comes into our joint account every month. Why would anyone marry a Farang teacher employed by a Thai school? 2 1 2

ubonr1971 Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 Is OP's post AI generated? For me I think I feel better than when I was a single lone rat, ratting around in life. Having a child is the best. 1

You mean because she has the fortitude and tenacity to be successful and has a high self esteem for her accomplishments and my being greatly proud of her because she’s not a lackey that is dependent on me or her family? If that’s your definition of chauvinistic pig then you’re insulting not only my wife but yourself as well. 2

The problem is lonely men that aren’t very good at socializing with women come here looking for a dream and don’t know their way around the block end up real a lemon nightmare relationship 1 1

save the frogs Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 11 hours ago, Chris Daley said: I will never trust another human for as long as I live. You're taking an overly extreme attitude. But money is generally one of the biggest problems in relationships. Most women will panic at any financial instability and women generally do not like to downgrade their lives. Just try as much as possible to stabilize your finances. Then find another gf/wife.
Bohemianfish Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 Good on this end. Hasn’t always been easy as par for the course for most any relationship. Either work through it or move on. Always have hope. 1

Trying to be a big time ya ba dealer while I was doing FIFO in Australia. Sentenced to life in prison and 2,000,000 baht fine, reduce to 25 years and 1,000,000 baht fine for confessing. Utalk2mutt Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 Sounds to me like she revealed her true colours. What she said is just damn nasty and I can understand fully why it reverberates in your head. I would be out of there if it was me I mean what’s next? Sounds to me like she’s only committed to you as long as the money keeps coming in. What would happen if you got sick? Would she be there offering you care and support? With that attitude somehow I would doubt it. I’m recently married but together 7.5 years before we got hitched. All is good there’s no real difference to be honest however, who knows what’s around the next corner? I would like to think I have made he right decision and right now there is nothing telling me any different. 1

Or are you one of the lucky ones? When I was young, I read somewhere that they are only two kinds of outcomes of marriages. People who divorce and people who think about divorce but haven't done it yet. My parents never divorced, but they blamed each other how good life could be without the other. And then I saw how treacherous and very expensive divorce can be. And that's when I decided I will never marry. I am living in mostly happy long-term relationship without marriage. Sometimes I think she is such a nice woman, maybe I should marry her. But then, sometimes she has a bad mood for some time and I am happy that I am not married. I could finish without bad financial consequences. I know this, she knows this, and that's IMHO the best way to keep a nice relationship. 1 1

A really good human being without an ounce of malice in her. 1 1 1
Will B Good Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 With my first wife it was the second night of our honeymoon. I explained I had a week's holiday booked with the lads after we got back (sailing on the Norfolk Broads). She went ballistic?????? It was all downhill after that, even though we struggled on to have four kids. 1
GammaGlobulin Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 The year....2013. That was the year I became a solitary human being. BEST decision...EVER. Living alone is BEST. Believe me. (Then, it's OK to have anyone come visit, but ONLY when you feel like it.)

bkk6060 Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 A save face question people will tell you how great it is. Marriage is a big mistake for any male who wants to be a real man. Women have an agenda which is mostly to control a man. Sadly, weak males fall for it and eventually become a human liter box. 2
