Is it possible to re-sell a new car back to the dealer?

I am just looking how to get rid of my car fast, it's an HONDA-HRV S hybrid

It's possible but you'll lose a lot of money, the car is now 2nd hand.

Lots of guys cashed up looking for a good buy.

If fast is your priority, then go to one of those second-hand dealers and take whatever they offer. That should be fast.

If you want more money and can wait longer, than fast is obviously not your priority.

Another option is bahtsold.

I second this as I have sold many cars through bahtsold and then gone and bought a new one without a trade in.

A lot of Thai dealers follow that website because they know foreigners usually get their cars regularly serviced at main dealers and look after them, so they like to but from foreigners.

Good luck, link enclosed.

Even main dealers pass your cars on to their mates who are second hand car dealers.

They then get backhanders.

Car dealerships don't, to my knowledge, particularly get involved with what is now, a second hand car.

I am in the process of buying a Honda WRV. Have paid a deposit but could walk away if you are selling at the right price. Paying 650,000 bht and collecting this week. Where are you and milage etc. It will be the wife's car so she will have the final decision.

Price and location etc

Price is 820k THB, Location is Nackon Ratchasima. The car has 6930km, always serviced by Honda, reason to sell is, I am leaving the country.

1. Needs lower price as it’s priced comparably (now) to dealer vehicles.      Dealers can and will sit on a car forever.  I’d price it between what a dealer is asking and what they would offer you.

2. Needs more information.  Is it a 2022 or 2023?  Options?

3. Needs correct information in the Advertisement.  Wrong mileage.

4. Needs better/more pictures.  Unable to ascertain condition.

Once in the US I wanted to sell a car because I was leaving town the next day.  So I priced it right, put up an ad on Craigslist, and had it sold in about two minutes.  The people that bought it got the deal of a lifetime.

Bad idea to state that you are leaviing the country as you will only receive lowball offers to take the car off your hands as you are desperate

Not sure if it's the same for vehicles, but for a lot of used home items, when it comes to selling, fast and fair price are mostly incompatible.

If you go with Facebook marketplace and get a dozen messages overnight asking 'is this item still for sale', don't be fooled, most are probably tyre kickers. It's unbelievable how many messages you get that never even reply. If no messages jump straight to when can I view, or making an offer, consider lowering the price. The earlier advice about taking the dealership midpoint buy/sell price, sounds spot on as a starting price.

The car is sitting by a friend, not in a hurry, but I get it, they won't know it and send low ball offers.

Any Idea why I can't post on the car forum? It's grayed out...
