I agree with you plenty of brave men in Europe, Australia, etc. however, the Vietnam war was not an American war, the US got dragged into it. what started the Vietnam war was Vietnam wanting independence from France, which then divided Vietnam into two groups (north/ south). , one backed by communist and one backed by the US. This was not a war the US started.- 1

As said where? In your head? They had to pay for fuel to fly all the way back, they had to pay to land back at BKK, had to pay for the logistical nightmare of deplaning everyone, getting their bags off, storing them, looking after everyone for 6-7 hours (feeding and giving them drinks), assuming letting those people go who didn't want to be rescheduled, then bringing in a replacement plane, fuelling it, catering it, staffing it with an entirely new crew, then getting it a slot to fly out of BKK and fly in to SIN, then flying out. All to save a landing fee in Singapore. Do you see how ridiculous you sound? This forum is full of the most moronic anti-Thai posters who post without even thinking.- 1

Thai Airways Bangkok-Singapore Flight Returns Due to Unexpected Technical Problems
As said they didn't want to pay high parking fees at changi so opted to turn round & fly back to bangers and put passengers MORE at risk than landing in singers, I guess it's a "Thai thing".. -
