Pattaya Newbie - Help Me! - Need a good hotel close to the beach

Hi guys, never been to Pattya, but I am heading there in a few days to stay for 3 days. My idea was to get a good hotel close to the beach. Does anyone have good hotel tips or general advice?

Don't need to be close to night life, already have a girl coming with me. So good standard hotel, bathtub would be ideal.

Much appreciated!

Google VT 7 and VT5b condos. They go for 1000 THB. Closest to the beach via gate. Nice big pools.

Hotels on the beach; Welcome World, Avalon, Rabbit Resort, Jomtien Palm Beach etc

All on nice Jomtien Dongtan beach.

The pharmacy for Viagra, and after a soapy massage. After that, all set for night time activity.

you probably need to decide if you prefer being in the middle of all the action in south pattaya near central festival mall and all the activities and restaurants and often weekend festivals  along beach road....OR do you prefer to be quiet place with way less restaurants shopping etc but better beach like Jomtien...really two different places and experiences...research is your friend...tons of you tube videos to show you the options...not sure how you define "good hotel"...south pattaya has a huge range...try agoda.com

What will your girl be doing during your "casual daytime activity"?

You could try synchronised swimming

I don't wish to get off topic but please forgive me may I say has anyone tried it , as for hotels

You would far be better near Pattaya beach than Jomtien beach

Based on what he writes he prefer quiet quality time  with his sweetheart. Jomtien beach is perfect for it.

Hilton King Exec Premium Ocean Front room, B&B rate will set you back 56,500 for 3 days. Sleeps 3, so you can bring an extra friend! Jacuzzi on the balcony overlooking the beach.

In a few days and not done any arrangement?

Guess the affordable places/rooms will be sold out.

If there is anything like peak season it's "in a few days" aka Christmas.

Proven wrong by Agoda.

23 to 26, e.g. Sea Me Spring Tree in Soi 10 for less than 2000.

Blackwoods on Soi 7, they have premium rooms with bathtub on the balcony with beach view  Haven't checked availability.

Standard room available for less than 3000.

Soo many hotels on or in short walking distance from the beach...

You're not wrong, it was a scramble to get the last room in this resort.

But I got it.

Spot on, I opted for Jomtien as there's no traffic near this resort so I can sleep. And only 15 mins into the action, so I can live with that.
