Hot/Cold kitchen sink mixer tap

Featured Replies

As there is no specific home improvement/DIY sub forum I am posting here.

I have been looking for a hot/cold kitchen sink mixer tap (ก๊อกน้ำอ่างล้างจาน ก๊อกน้ำผสม ร้อน เย็น) that is flexible.  I saw a couple of rigid ones in HomePro and another in Mega.

This is the only one I have found online, althought on a recent trip to the beach, the condo I stayed in, had a stainless steel one as in the picture below which is the same as the cold only one I currently have.

Has anyone seen this type anywhere that is hot and cold?  I know this is not such a common item in Thailand.

I did see online some touch fawcetts, it wasn't clear exactly what they did or how they worked or why you would complicate a simple manual mechanical valve with a motor/servo/solenoid or whatever.

My objection to the white/back silicone ones is pure is a purely aesthetic one but maybe I could reconfigure my perception to think of it as cool and high tech.

You asked for hot/cold and the Kohler has hot and cold.

The sensor is comfortable if you hold a pot in two hands or if your hands are dirty, etc. But obviously it's not necessary.

I think this one is just either hot or cold.  No mentiion in the description of mixer (ก๊อกน้ำผสม) or hot and cold (ก๊อกน้ำผสม ร้อน เย็น).

There are flexible kitchen faucet 360° extenders on lazada for 47 baht.

You just untwist the endpience of the faucet head and screw on the extender.  My friends use and like them.

Boonthavorn has a good selection of mixer faucets for the kitchen.  I bought two Franke brand for our house.  They have detachable spray heads but are not the tall kind you showed.  I prefer lower ones as it's easier to prevent the water splashing outside the sink.

Obviously I saw in the heading but not the description.

I watched the video. I stand corrected. 🙏

Thanks for the info. 🙂

Yep... Almost everywhere... Particularly HomePro etc...

Its easy to spot them in person with the '4-way-movement'  - its less simple to tell from the online photos.

Thanks.

Might be an idea to have it added to the description on the main page although I see there are a few sub forums of the property forum, somewhere I'd never visited before.

Thanks, out of stock!

There are others.  Just do a search on Lazada or Shopee for "hot-cold kitchen faucet."

I'm not recommending that one, just pointing out that style is available.  Can't be exceptional quality for only 600 baht.

I think I am on my 3rd cold only kitchen sink tap/fawcett since I bought my condo 16 years ago so I know quality varies a lot.

I was planning to get these:

https://nocnoc.com/p/Water-Heaters-Water-Boilers/MEX-เครื่องทำน้ำร้อน-MULTIPOINT-รุ่น-CENTRI-6-S-6000W/12107665

and NocNoc which I've never bought from before has the best prices.

I have one new for sale, if you want to buy. I live in Jomtien.

I have had  hot/cold faucets in the bathrooms and in my kitchen for 20 years. Just have to go to ThaiWatsadu, Boonthavorn, Mega Home or Home Pro to have a look. Best to see the options and prices.

Take a look in Boonthawan (spelling ?)  just past Home Pro as you are heading North on Sukhumvit just past the Klang tunnel. From memory they had a big range of kitchen taps in there.

I take it you did not notice that this was posted in the Chiang Mai forum and that the OP was from there.............

I can confirm I am in Chiang Mai.  I went to the smaller HomePro on the superhighway near Decathlon and also Mega near Big C Don Chan.  Both had a range of heaters, HomePro had 2 models of tap/fawcett and Mega 1.

The condo I stayed in on holiday at the beginning of the month had the Mex heater and it worked well.

Thank you to everyone for taking time to contribute.  Right now I am but busy with Christmas so I will be back to going out to look for one at the end of this week whilst still considering an online purchase.

Merry Christmas all.

Check out IKEA. Most of theirs are genuine mixer taps and will be of European quality.

We bought this one ( MEX ) from Home Pro

hot and cold .. plus a seperate function to attach to the water filter for your drinking water total 3 connections ...

 covers all the bases
