Why Im one of your top poster? Mot of all Im or was curious how you guys thinking, and why you guys choose to believe something that’s for most is obviously not true based on science that is 2 300 year old. If the earth is flat, or anything else than what we have established as an fact and truth, we must live in a constructed reality, and nothing is real.

Eratosthenes of Cyrene is credited with being the first person to scientifically prove that the Earth was round in the 3rd century BC. He did this by using geometry and measurements of the sun's angle at two different locations to calculate the Earth's circumference with remarkable accuracy

Is this a try to convince me? Still waiting for your explanation of the Earth's core, plate tectonics and  volcanos.

Surely this has been reproduced on a small scale with a working model. I would be interested in seeeing that.

Why don't you write a grant request to investigate this pressing issue? Make sure to highlight your extensive background in the many sciences you post about.

The grant committee needs a good laugh now and again.

I don't need a grant to know it is impossible, as anyone with a couple of functional brain cells would.

Goodness!

Can Flat Earthers vote?

I guess they can, because---no surprise---a prominent one here voted for Trump.

I guess the education system lets a few loons slip through.

You're willfully ignorant... you're off the road to enlightenment and into the ditch of ignorance.

Which one would that be?

Projection is one of the most fascinating psychological mechanisms.

Because I can physically verify gravity exists.

You can physically verify that if you drop an object, it will fall to the ground with increasing momentum. For a variety of reasons, you are content with the explanation that this phenomenon is caused by 'gravity', a theory which Newton himself was dissatisfied with.
