December 27, 20241 yr For a lot of reasons, it will take the BRICS nations some time to gain traction as serious players in the global currency markets. The depth of the liquidity, for example. In NY, you can get deals done. In NY, you can transact 100s of millions of dollars with a few keystrokes. No one will even notice. BRICS? Try doing that in China, or in India. There are too many roadblocks. How easily can you wire money in and out of China? I'm not sure what a BRICS "partner" status signifies,, but I like the concept. The USA is robbing the world with its inflationary game. and the dollar has been weaponized. That's all counterproductive, but it's happening. We'll see what happens with BRICS. But it won't happen this year or the next. Maybe in 10 or 20 yers?
