Permission to stay (retirement) and re entry permit on my passport expire on day x.

If I enter Thailand on day x, will I be given 60 day exempts or is my re entry permit still valid?

Cheers

If you enter Thailand with reentry permit the immigration can decide to only stamp you in till date of expiry.

As @Crossy points out the io MAY offer you 60 day stamp.

Why not reenter Thailand after reentry permit has expired.

BTW: why no plan to continue extensions retirement.

I'm planning on starting all over again, visa exempt-NON O-retirement extension.

Understand it now.

As posted earlier I would reenter after permission of stay expiry.

You are guaranteed no issue.

You won't be questioned.
