Large scale organised capitalism actually reduced wars as economies wealth could be expanded without conquering territory.

Business leaders supported Hitler to maintain power, not out of love for capitalism or to prevent state control—they benefited from state contracts under fascist regulation. The idea that capitalism reduces wars is oversimplified; big business thrives in war economies, as seen with the Nazis.

The NSDAP was not a "working-class nationalist" party but a far-right, authoritarian regime with a dangerous agenda.

This is why I love this graphic - it's so fitting.  And it is me.  I voted Democrats or for third-party independents most of my life when I felt their values aligned with mine.  I considered myself an old-school liberal (still do), and yet here on this forum, a whole bunch of the usual suspects have referred to me in terms like "Trump supporter" and "MAGA lover."  I despise predatory capitalism but I'm 100% small business capitalism. I'm pro-worker but not necessarily pro-union.  I was a member of a union once and it sure as hell looked out for the pocket-books of its top members - the rest of us?  Not so much.  Not much difference between a union boss and a corporate executive: they both can be predatory and only look after their own interests. I'm pro-immigration: legal immigration, all those who came in the back door at the expense of those waiting in line legally need to be deported asap.  I'm pro-social-safety net. That doesn't mean I'm a socialist - I'm not.  I'm pro-universal healthcare - privatization of health care is predatory as is the US' current health care system.  I'm pro-H-1B visa to fill in the high-tech STEM skill-sets that are not available in the US population - not to step in front of the line and take jobs from Americans with the same skills. I don't care who you sleep with, or what sex you want to pretend to be, but you can shove your pronouns and leave the children the hell alone.  And I don't like either major party in the US now - I see them as the Uni-Party.  And I believe in term limits and drastic campaign finance reform - $1.5 BILLION dollars spend on Harris presidential bid?  $100 million alone from one donor to Trump!  Millions provided by PACs for congressional candidate?  Elections can be bought by the highest bidders - that needs to end. 

So - I'm a "far-right-wing, MAGA, Trump-lover?"  Nope.  But I'm still an old-school liberal which makes me a traditional conservative - everything the far-left and progressives hate. Yep - that's "me" right there.  And the progressive left wayyyyyyyy over there, "Bigot!"
