Tommy is not far right aka racist. He left the EDL more than 10 years ago because he believed it had become too extreme. Now he is just speaking for the working class, as the vast majority of the middle and upper class could not give an eff about what is happening to them/their daughters. There are even quite a few people with some power who ignored requests for help from the girls who were groomed, saying to the effect that the girls consented so there was nothing to look into. Girls from care homes and working class communities, some as young as 10, and an extremely large number under 16. That consititutes rape. 

 

Does he grift from his "reporting"? Of course he does. It's how he makes his living. But he does continue to try to draw attention to what is happening. Something that truly needs addressing. And now Musk has jumped on the issue which has brought great attention to this matter - not a bad thing (although I do not believe Musk is doing it out of the goodness of his heart, but rather for personal benefit - whatever that is). 

 

Rees-Mogg is pretentious tw@t and I doubt that him joining Reform would increase support for that party.

If I was the richest man in the world, and I discovered that a country that boasts of having the same types of freedoms that my own has was covering up the mass industrialized rape of young girls - some as young as 10 - then I would shout it from the rooftops no matter whose feathers got ruffled.   Rape of children is unacceptable.   Covering up the rape of children for political gain should carry the same sentence as the rapists get as this enabled tens of thousands of more young girls to be raped that could and should have been prevented.   If Starmer or Phillips were involved in this cover up they should be going to jail as this is significantly worse than anything Tommy Robinsons has said or done.  

 

I don't think doing what you can to protect the rights of children not to be gang raped requires personal gain.   It just requires someone to be a decent human and I am sure if you had equivalent influence you would do the same.

He pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiring with others to obtain a mortgage by misrepresentation from the Abbey and Halifax banks. The fact of the matter is that he committed criminal fraud and it was for personal profit. You are excusing his criminal fraud.
