A Member of Parliament (MP) from the People’s Party raised questions to the Royal Thai Police (RTP) regarding the income generated from a special training programme for Chinese volunteer police, as well as the legality and effectiveness of the training, which took only three days to complete.

 

The MP, Sasinan Thamnithinan, shared her concerns on her Twitter account yesterday, January 1, drawing public attention to the issue. Sasinan stated…

 

“A police officer, who wishes to remain anonymous, sent me this story. It is worth questioning whether the RTP has the right to organise training for Chinese volunteer police and charge each participant 38,000 baht. Where does this money go? Where does the budget to organise such training come from? Is it legal to issue these volunteers with identification cards bearing the national emblem?”

 

Photos accompanying the post showed a police officer presenting a Chinese volunteer with a training certificate, an identification card, and a vessel with the Thai flag.

 

One of the photos detailed the training programme, which takes only three days to complete. It also included a breakdown of the 38,000-baht fee and listed the items each Chinese participant would receive upon completing the training.

 

 

Commander’s defence

 

The Commander of the Metropolitan Police Division 3, Kiattikun Sonthinain, later spoke to the news agency PPTV HD to clarify the matter. He explained that police officers were involved in the programme only as lecturers. The training itself was organised by Siam University in Bangkok, and the officers were not aware of the fees being charged.

 

According to the commander, the training was intended to provide Chinese students at the university with knowledge of Thai law. He also noted that the officers were unaware that participants would be issued items featuring the RTP’s national emblem.

The commander emphasised that the Chinese volunteer police did not work for the RTP in any capacity. The programme was merely designed to teach them basic legal knowledge for their daily lives in Thailand.

 

Despite this clarification, Sasinan continued to express concerns. She highlighted that officers from Metropolitan Police Division 3 do not have jurisdiction over the area where the university is located. She argued that officers from Metropolitan Police Division 9 should have been involved instead.

 

The MP further questioned the legitimacy of issuing documents and identification cards bearing the signature of a high-ranking police officer, suggesting that the training may have involved more than just a knowledge-sharing session.

38,000  for 3 days? You could get "Thailand's finest" (hint: not police) for more than 3 days for that sum...

So how come these 'students' are also 'Chinese volunteer police'? What are their duties & powers to be?

And added to all that, the RTP are now turning into Giant Pandas!

China has for years tried to "introduce" a sort of tourist police in all major countries where their brainwashed citizens -especially students) go en masse and might learn the meaning of free speech and forced occupation of foreign land in other than mandarin and quite possibly speak to the abominable and uninfluenced locals. This is a camouflage for the communist secret police spying and having a stranglehold on chinese nationals abroad or their families in China, mainly Uighurs and Tibetans from the occupied territories but also chinese artists and actual thinking people. In several EU countries this has been the subject to diplomatic conflicts and consequenses. Thailand of course -it might not realise this- is after the de facto fall of Laos and Cambodia the next in line and any type of 5th column supported by the CCP and the colaborators here. Be very afraid.

Thailand is not the only country with Chinese police. Europe, North America and almost every country in the world has or had them.

According to the link you attached, the presence of China cops outside their border functioning as the tool of intimidation of own national(overseas Chinese yet to become naturalized to the country of their residence).

Sounds even more horrifying and upsetting; openly violating the law enforcement sovereignty of the respective country even in the first world.

Thailand is now little China and little Russia combined.

 

A hellish mix, IMO.

if that's the case why supply/provide them with RTP uniforms... he's trying very hard to cover up, hope they will dig deeper 555

In other words, it doesn't serve to gradual takeover of Thailand by CCP?

 Surely it's a joke, the CCP control every aspect of their citizens lives, while else are all the chinese scum criminals operating outside of the country, including here. 

Because they would be found out in a jot inside china.

The Thai's can train their own police properly because of the endemic corruption, except in how to be corrupt.

Clearly another example of mafia making money for no worthwhile purpose...

 

The Government or the Prime Minister should take full responsibility for this as the National Police Chief reports directly  to her. It is shamful that this is happening right under her nose. Not another soft power project.

I do not doubt that the Chinese are trying to develop Chinese (call them what you want) in many countries to “assist” overseas Chinese. I would ask all, however, to cite creditable sources as to these programs in whatever country being mentioned.

Maybe some of the Chinese mobile motorbike cops could exchange and show the Thai Roving motorbike patrols how its done as well 😀
