FA Cup 🏆

Featured Replies

I still love the FA Cup even though it's not quite the same as back in the 70s/80s. Clubs & fans eagerly awaiting the 3rd round draw. A chance for the smaller clubs to make a giant killing. Some interesting ties to look forward to:

Liverpool vs Accrington.

Chelsea vs Morecambe.

Tamworth vs Tottenham.

Newcastle vs Bromley.

Leeds vs Harrogate.

Looks like Liverpool will be champions & we know the 3 relegated teams. Just the battle for European places left.  Forest vs Palace would be good, but I think it'll be City vs Villa.  FA

Most interesting match for me personally; The Os v The Rams

FA Cup is great. Spurs going to Tamworth & seeing their ground, pitch, dressing room etc.

Coverage on TV is great. So many games. I'll probably keep my eye on Liverpool vs Accrington, Leicester vs QPR, Norwich vs Brighton, Tamworth vs Spurs & Arsenal vs Utd ... plus others.

  âšŊī¸Â  🏆  👏

Any idea what Thai channels you can view the FA cup on other than the Internet, live stream etc

I've just checked, it doesn't look like the FA Cup is on Thai TV. They just have a Bundesliga match.

I'm watching on TrueVisions.

BeIN Sports etc.

Biggest surprise result so far yesterday. Beez 0 - Plymouth 1

Only been two so far. Cardiff winning at Turf Moor and Plymouth making the trip to West London and returning very happy pilgrims.

An FA Cup surprise.

Bees 0 Argle 1. 👍

You are reading my mind Gary.

Havertz is pretty much a joke at this point, how embarrassing to dive like that.

Tamworth match was interesting.

True FA Cup encounter. I think the icy, artificial pitch helped even out the game a little. Spurs needed to make those subs.

As for Arsenal vs Utd, I actually went to bed at half-time. I thought it might go to extra time & pens.

My number one league team at home to City. Can they do it?

Funny thing is, that although I don't like extra and pens. I want to get to pens in this one. Then it's 50-50.

Went to many grounds up and down the country back in the day, but never Orient sadly. Come on Orient! 👍

Argle 1 Liverpool 0

Well done Argyle 👏

That's what can happen when you make so many changes & underestimate the opposition.

Well done The Pilgrims.

Took full advantage of Pool's cockiness.

Home to United would be nice.

Not sure about Brighton winning at St James' Park.

If Newcastle win hopefully they'll be drawn home to City next round or perhaps Villa vs City.

Great win for Orient at Wrexham last night in the league. Playoffs are certainly possible.

Yow! We are on a really good run. Brought in  couple of fresh faces.

Next two games are toughies. Away to both Wanderers and Brum.

Stockport are a big danger. They are on a good run too. Beat us last time we met on 1st Feb. Barnsley and Hudders have nosed-dived. That helps us.

We just have to keep pushing on.

Tough game at Brum especially going down to 10 men so early on.

It's going to be an interesting battle for playoffs with the likes of Charlton, Bolton & Barnsley among others. 🤔

Because I said that The 'O's were having a great run, they go lose their next three league games. Have it all to do now. Gonna shut up about them. To make matters worse; Dag & Red, and Aveley both lost at home. Hornchurch drew away. Even the club that i played for 40 years ago lost at home. Bad w/e.

FA Cup. The whites (North Enders) spoiled my accumulator by swamping the Clarets. To think that they were once one of, if not the best team in the world. Now only well thought of for being a household three letter footy club like; QPR, WHU, PNE.

Come on you pilgrims.

Watched the highlights on YT. Orient score a very good goal, and then Charlton score from 2 corners both in stoppage time. That's football sometimes.

FA Cup: Just need City to lose at Cherries in QF & then there would be an interesting final between 2 less likely sides.
