Yup. I've cut myself up on those, nasty. Even the rocks are razor sharp. Between that and stepping on sea urchins I wear sneakers now when swimming

True when I lived at a resort for a year almost daily someone came out with a bleeding toe etc, best to wear these water shoes I believe decathlon sells them too. Depends what beach you are at too.
