Bravo Judge, Well done! 👏👏👏

The difference between Singapore and Thailand. In the former he’s tried, convicted and jailed. In Thailand, well, let’s say things are more hazy and drawn out.

Is it a law that one can't travel with a torn page in passport? Do the immigration officers have any leeway?

Seems a bit strong to let him fly all the way from Oz to Thailand and not let him in. The tear must have passed unnoticed when he boarded.

The Thais are always stapling bits of paper in ours. I'm always very careful when removing said staples.

Their is No Law !! but If you travel with a damaged passport, your fate is in the hands of the official examining your passport. “Technically, you can travel with a passport that has minor damage, but it’s risky. Airlines and immigration officials may deny boarding or entry if they consider the damage significant,”

But the killing or destruction are the last words to be mouthed at the airport; instantly taken Security Threat...
