I love how he wouldn't touch the Bible -since he knew he would burst into flames.

Relatedly, his wife was wearing a protective soup plate on her head.

John F. Kennedy Inaugural speech:  "Ask not what your country can do for you.  Ask what you can do for your country."

Donald Trump Inaugural speech:  "Drill, baby, drill."

The worst president in US history just gave the worst Inaugural Address in US history, lazily digging out his tired and stale campaign speech from his back pocket.

What did you expect ?  He is no brain surgeon, has no new ideas , just the same hate that his supporters lap up…

I am happy he is pro crypto, and that will make smart peoples lives a lot wealthier!

The Trump coins were sleazy. The immigration orders look good, except for the H1B thing. And I'm surprised to see that the energy emergency has a number of excellent ideas as well, including biofuels and SAF.

No, I mean the  hours long podcasts he did with Musk & Rogan, the countless interviews he dId, Harris had nothing to say at all and Biden literally couldnt speak.

Cry & bitch all you want, Democrats lost themselves the election by being so anti Trump and woke. You all deserve it.

It's just that there is no "emergency".

The U.S. has never produced as much energy and is now producing more oil than any country ever. Global prices have significantly decreased and are expected to decrease further according to the IEA.

Biofuel and SAF are old 'ideas', nothing new.

As to "drill baby drill", it's just a slogan for the gullible. Oil companies are focused on efficiently exploit their current resources and would be keen to invest, in particular u der the current price decrease trend. They have absolutely no interest in amplifying this price decrease trend by producing more.

I agree with everything you write. Biden did quite well as far as energy production goes. But I wanted to single out biofuels and SAF because that is one area that Biden let linger with very little development. I'm happy to see Trump include it as part of his "favored" energy areas. I've also been skeptical of windmills (I think they used to call them condor cuisinarts a few decades ago in California). I also think that solar is important but needs to be scaled back from vast solar farms that corrupt eco sensitive areas as well as farmland (put them atop buildings and parking garages and houses). But, yes, the US is in fairly good shape already with energy production.

It all depends on whether you view Biden's Inflation Reduction Act to fund $239 miilion for biofuel development as insufficient or not. Same for his $300 million path to further develop SAF. I think solar and conservatism can exist in tandem.

Nothing came of it. Look at what has happened to GEVO and CLMT. CLMT got a DoE loan approval last Thursday and Gevo is still waiting on conditional approval. Trump froze both loan processes yesterday--a bad idea IMO. There were a lot of anti-farming, anti-ethanol people in Biden's admin who slow walked those loans and support. And because oil prices are already relatively low and stable, not to mention globally priced, biofuels are the one area that could make a difference in reducing energy prices. That is what Trump thinks is going to reduce prices and inflation--reduced energy costs. But there is very little room to reduce oil prices much lower.

It probably wasn't the main focus, but biofuel and SAF have already been included in the previous administrations's policies. Nothing new there.

They were protestors protesting against something they disagreed with.  Non violently.

It sounds like you are suggesting that certain types of non violent protests should be criminalized here.  Bit tyrannical.

It's only if you support Trump that it's wrong to protest. If called BLM it's OK to steal and burn buildings.

That's correct, but they'll never admit they got it wrong. They even tried to tell us that Harris had a good shot at winning- election day showed what a huge lie that was.
