and, BTW, dude, WE DON'T CARE

Ain't that the truth! If anything Trump wears it as a symbol of the hypocrisy of the Dems, and their weaponised justice system. Hopefully real justice is coming for them.

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), another member of the former House select committee investigating the January 6 attack, also weighed in, telling CNN that the Trump administration “has a lot of explaining to do” regarding the clemency extended to the Capitol riot defendants.

These actions came just hours after outgoing President Joe Biden issued preemptive pardons for members and staff of the House January 6 select committee, including Schiff and Raskin, in the final moments of his presidency.

Too Funny. There needs to be a special place in historical chapters for special people like this.

The adage that comes to my mind is "Hypocrisy is the compliment vice pays to virtue".

There is no need for the Trump administration to pay that compliment anymore, they don't have to be hypocritical, they just say what they feel. They don't have to be Fascist, they can get anything they want and do anything they want already through Congress and Senate, and judges who were chosen Constitutionally in the Supreme court.

Dems don't have the right to denigrate/cancel those who they disagree with, call them hillbillies, rednecks etc.

The recidivism rate for violent felons is about 66%. Already, TODAY, one of the pardonee's is already back in trouble.

It's going to be a slow drip for the next four years of these miscreants making Fattie look bad -not unlike the argument he uses against migrants.

But instead of "who let them in?", it's going a constant drumbeat of which personality disordered madman "let the out".

Sweet.

You know 47 is all about "America First".  We don't need any foreign criminals. That's a job for 'Merikans, dammit.

Since he closed the southern border, he probably and irrationally fears a crime gap (migrants, even illegal ones, are involved in far less crime than native born), so releasing those miscreant lowlife felons means good old domestic-driven crime.

Send this wacko loser back to prison

I love that guy. I love that the FBI effed with him and kept his stupid hat, "for evidence".

Why couldn't he just buy another $40 stupid hat? Google tells me he spent a lot of money to go to court.

He was reunited with his shaman spell-hat last August. Now available to entertain at children's parties, I presume.

Every illegal immigrant that crosses the border commits a crime.

The ONLY time a crime that has been committed is attributed to illegal immigrants is when an illegal immigrant is convicted.

All crimes that are not investigated, go unsolved, or that are not prosecuted successfully, are  attributed to citizens.

Which murderers did President Biden pardon?

Leonard Peltier comes to mind immediately, without even going over the list of thousands of other pardons.

In fairness, it wasn't a pardon as much as a "get out of prison and go home" card.

Yeah, but the were law enforcement, so they don’t count.

Peletier was not convicted of murder. Peletier was not pardoned.

His sentence was commuted to  home detention. He is 80 years old and in failing health. He has advanced diabetes with toe amputation and cellulitis, degenerative joint disease, hypertension, partial blindness  and physical impairment from a stroke. He is dying.  In effect. the US government has relieved itself of  of $60,000+ of annual custody expense to care for an invalid who does not present as a threat to anyone. Caring for a dying inmate is an expensive undertaking.   The man has served 47+ years, which is far longer than similar cases.

The case against Peletier was questionable. The request for clemency was championed by the for Attorney for Iowa, who was responsible for defending the state on appeal, and arguing for the man's incarceration. That was his job as the federal State Attorney. Once out of his job and after review of the complete evidence file, some of which was withheld by the FBI, he ralized that the case had errors.

The 1977 trial is marked by prosecutorial misconduct, including the forced testimony of witnesses, the withholding of exculpatory evidence, falsified affidavits, and most tellingly, the hiding of a ballistics report that established that the bullets that killed the agents were not from Peltier’s gun.   Once these facts  became public, the charges against Peltier were changed to “aiding and abetting” whoever did kill the agents,  because he was present at the time of the shooting.

How do you manage to fit your foot in your mouth? You know how Trump has criticized the FBI for misconduct? Well, this is an example of the FBI not having been forthcoming with exculpatory evidence and of the US Justice Department not providing the exculpatory information that it had. It looks like you disagree with Trump too.
