Removing price controls on prescription medicines is one example.

More to follow.

And still no news on egg prices going down.

So you have no idea, I thought not.

Refer past performance and u-turns already made.

Oh and the price of eggs.

1. Past performance is not an indication of future performance.

2. U turns? He has been president for 1 day. Link?

So? He did what he could, and but for the left it would have been done.

500 miles of wall, paid for by his “Remain in Mexico” policy.

The Biden opens the border.

I know i try to keep animals off my grandads farms, as they keep harming the sheep - so he built a wall. But it was just a tiny bit on one side.

But at least he tried. Meanwhile sheep keep being bit and taken.

Trump's wall was pointless if it wasn't going to be complete. And even then it could never really built on most of the terrain.

But people lap up the racist rhetoric.

My husband is British and i am American. The logical choice of where we would go when we left SE Asia was England or America. My husband wouldn't even entertain going to England. To have what we have here would be impossible in the UK.

As a Brit I'm envious.

They have a strong leader who cares about the country and it's people.

We have a lying simp who hates the country and it's people.

Mr. Starmer is neither a liar nor a simp. He has always been upfront as to his political  positions. He was  the person who tried to rid Labour of the ignorant, mean spirited bigots like Corbyn and Galloway, but was blocked by hundreds of thousands of people who shared the positions of the hateful bigots. He was strong enough to  push Corbyn to the side. it took alot of  courage and strength to do that, all the while being  backstabbed by the Corbyn faction. He had to  make some compromises to rid the party of the destructive faction.

He is a man who is trying to repair the legacy of a decade of neglect left behind by inept buffoons, without much support from anyone. The snipers from the sides like Farage do not want him or the UK to succeed as it would mean less of an opportunity for Farage and his collection of carpetbaggers.

The fact of the matter is that Starmer was why Labour achieved a majority. Had he not pushed the  Marxist faction to the side and broken the cabal of bigots, there would be no Labour government today. The extreme leftists despise the man, as do the extreme rightists. He deserves a chance to address the financial mess left behind by the Conservatives.

The Davos gatherings usually don't get much coverage in the US.  After living outside the US for a while I went back for a visit and when I mentioned Davos I got the kind of eye-rolling that usually accompanies bringing up the JFK murder.  "Meeting between industrialists and world political leaders?  Yeah, right."

There was something published during his first WH stint called "From the Wh_re house to the White House."  It's probably on the net somewhere.

You mean most people aren't even slightly curious about what Kerry has to say about it all?

Why aren't the Brits going to land on Mars?

Because they no longer make anything capable of doing so. Britain had a proud tradition of building military aircraft and rockets, but many years ago they gave it away and bought American instead. I doubt they even have engineers capable of building a Mars spaceship. A sad end for a country that once had an Empire on which the sun never set.

A nation ruled by muppets for decades; not clever muppets, the really really stupid muppets.

If walls are so useless, why do the israelis build so many?

So it’s useless because it not complete, Trump tried to complete it, the left stopped him, so you blame Trump.

Perfect leftist logic.

Ironically America is very unattractive to most of the world due to gun violence, health care costs, lack of public infrustructure, education costs (go see how much university costs).

Most Americans are shocked (lacking in education) at how well the public are looked after. Of course it's not perfect, and it's open to abuse, but i know which i prefer.

52 miles of new primary wall.....the rest was replacements and repairs to old primary and secondary walls.....and he gibbed the constitution to do that by diverting military funds.....and the Mexicans never paid a dime.

Yeah weren't Mexico meant to pay for the wall ?

Over 60% of US workers are college educated.

In the US people (except leftists) generally do not want the government to look after them.

Well when I can buy land with no restrictions whatsoever, am allowed to build on it so i can recreate the lake place up north, residence and winter place in Florida I might consider it. I like to build houses and cabins. This is impossible in the UK.

Everybody is different but the living arrangements in the UK absolutely suck unless you rate rich. I really don't require the government to care for me so all of that is irrelevant. Living in some crappy row house just isn't for me.

Yes, but don’t you want to be looked after?

I'm a little conflicted about Trump, as Im sure a lot of Brits are.

I'm an American bleeding heart liberal, but what got Trump elected was immigration.

I despise him as a human being, but he's tapped in to a growing frustration with politicians unwillingness, both here in the US, the UK and more widely the EU to actually get a grip on this.

My wife is a legal  immigrant, but from the day she set foot on American soil wasn't entitled to a thing, I was on the hook for everything until she got entitled for herself, never claimed a dime

I 'think' the same is true for the UK, had she arrived as an illegal claiming asylum then, the benefits world would have been her oyster

Thats Trump's great appeal, and probably UK envy that he's actually prepared to do something
