Folk usually apply for extension week or 2 prior to stamp expiry.

The 30 is added to the current permission of stay so no days "lost" by applying early

so you can go 1 week early and it will count as if you go last day?

I travel UK-Thailand 4 times a year to visit family, previously never been asked for onward ticket.  I assumed they could see from my record on the computer that I always leave before expiry of date of stamp in my passport.  However on entry last year in December the IO asked for purpose of stay and proof of onward ticket, there's a first time for everything.

The OP seems to want to stay longer that 60 days.

His options have been outlined clearly in the thread.

I don't understand his ongoing questions.
