Popular Post Georgealbert Posted January 23 Popular Post Posted January 23 Picture from responders. A crash in Phitsanulok left a luxury Lamborghini sports car reduced to scrap metal in the early hours of the morning of January 23. The incident occurred at approximately 01:30 on Singhawat Road, near the Krua Luksao Kungkaew restaurant in Ban Phlai Chumphon, Mueang District. Police and rescue teams arrived promptly at the scene following a report from Pol Sub Lt. Sali Duangupra of the Phitsanulok City Police Station. The crash involved a green Lamborghini Huracán Evo, a supercar valued at over 20 million baht. The car was destroyed, but the driver, identified from his ID card as 36-year-old businessman Mr. Anawat, was not found at the scene. His wallet, containing tens of thousands of baht in cash, was left in the wrecked car. The other vehicle, a black Isuzu D-Max two-door pickup truck, also collided with the front of the restaurant, sustaining significant damage. Its driver, Mr. Ekaphong, a 32-year-old from Maha Sarakham, suffered facial and shoulder injuries. Rescue personnel administered first aid before taking him to Phitsanuvej Hospital. A witness, 60-year-old Ms. Thongpoon, who was resting in the restaurant at the time of the crash, described the shocking incident. “I heard a loud crash and rushed out to see the Lamborghini driver walking away from the wreck, unharmed, and calling someone to pick him up. He left the scene before anyone could stop him,” she recounted. The restaurant also suffered extensive damage, including shattered glass, a broken pillar, and a collapsed roof. Ms. Thongpoon added that no one has come forward to take responsibility for the damages, and she intends to notify the owner to file a formal police complaint. The cause of the accident remains unclear and is under investigation by the police. This is not the first high-profile crash involving Mr. Anawat. In 2024, he survived another serious incident when his Porsche Panamera, worth approximately five million baht, crashed into a roadside pole and caught fire. Coincidentally, the site of the previous incident is not far from the location of this latest crash. The investigation is ongoing and potential charges are expected as police continue to gather evidence. -- 2025-01-24 2 1 1 1

Popular Post ronster Posted January 24 Popular Post Posted January 24 Another leaving the scene of an accident. They need to jail people for a minimum amount of a year for leaving the scene as most will be high or drunk , so will disappear till it's out of their system before turning themselves in. 1 5 1 1

So you don't suppose he may have bummed a ride to hospital before he bled to death? I'm not saying that's what happened, but I'll wait for the investigation before casting stones. 4
newbee2022 Posted January 24 Posted January 24 That's a heartbreaking end of a wonderful example of a useless car (I mean the Lambo)

Pretty sure police or an ambulance would have been there before whoever he called if he had waited. 🙄 1 1

He cannot drive and was likely under the influence so didn't want to stick around.
