I just spent 2 hours texting,  messaging,  getting LINE id ....

she wants a new job,   my friend wants to interview her .....

then she says'    I cannot start for 2 months ...

WTF  !!    these people are brain dead absolutely ,,,    why didn't she tell me that before I did anything   ????????????????????

Its quite usually to have to give some notice when leaving a job .

Usually have to give 6 weeks notice when leaving a job and new job positions usually start some time in the future .

You cant expect people to begin a new job on the next Monday , they need to time to give some notice to their current job

Personally,  I would never recommend anyone here for a job.  Here today, gone tomorrow with no explanation is way too common.

Are you talking about bar girls or casual workers ?

I don't care ..... I stand by what I said ....    you don't discuss a new job in a restaurant and arrange an interview and then say oh '   I can't start for 2 months ....

if the 2 months is normal for giving notice then she doesn't need to even mention that as it's normal and the new job boss will know that.

It seems you approach this with logic.

Sorry to remind you, we are in Thailand...

anyway,  I just sent her a message and said don't worry about the notice period as the new boss will know that.

And yet the sky has not fallen and Thailand survives.

She doesn't want the job being offered. So she is delaying instead of rejecting your kindness and causing you to lose face.

2 months from now she would have another excuse why she's not ready or she will say she found another job already. Forget it, cut your loses and move on.

If correct   :
