To Korat (Nakhon Ratchasima) city(?) it's roughly 250 km.

On the route Suvarnabhumi to Pattaya it's about 10 Baht/km.

As a ride to Korat will likely have no return trip you should expect more than that.

Might add up to 4000 Baht.

Try to contact this taxi service and ask whether they arrange such tour.

city: just assuming. The province is big.

I would suggest making a prior booking with a taxi service rather than just a waiting taxi at the airport.

Absolutely.

Not every city taxi (driver) will/can accept such tour unprepared.

I don't know how old these prices are, but this might give you an idea.

Max 3200 would be cheap.

Tom Taxi is competitive and wants 3500 from Suv. to Ko Chang pier. That's 300 km.

I recently travelled from Nakhon Sawan to Pattaya, myself and 2 Thai females.

370 km, 3800 Baht, good price.

My girlfriends house is further north east, not far from the Uthai Thani border, it was close to 450kms.

Taxis use to have a placard with rates to different provinces.  If having and getting them to show you may be a challenge.

Remember them being much less than what I read people paid.

No idea if it would actually work out but Grab allows you to pre-book a ride.  I just had a look from DMK to Korat rail station and they quote THB2622 for a regular car, 3776 for an SUV.  Could be a good option.

Hi my friend is arriving at don meuang on Tuesday and is asking how much a taxi would be anyone can help and any things to be careful about.

If time not a factor, three bus companies run hourly from Chattuchak to Korat.  Cost around 250 baht.

I can't confirm, but I think the new red line stops at Don Muang and Chattuchak station.

If your friend has the Bolt app on his phone, that might work, even for a long trip.

On time in Pattaya, I was trying to go from my condo in Wongamat to Soi Post Office in central Pattaya. Somehow, I accidentally selected the Post office at Patong Beach, Phuket from the drop down menu.  And the app came back with a quote for the trip.  I can't imagine taking that kind of cab ride, but I guess Bolt would try to find a driver.

I travel from Suvarnabhumi or Bangkok to Pak Chong and back regularly using the same taxi guy who lives near Don Mueang - 2500 inc tip and he's happy to stop for coffee. My driver doesn't speak much English but he's reliable and punctual.  I'm guessing that his charge to Korat would be around 3000.

Its a while since I've been to DMK but I presume they have a 'Meeting Point' - my guy doesn't speak much English but he'll happily meet your friend there or send a photo of where he is waiting if your friend uses LINE.

PM if you want his number.
