In 14 months, the Russians gained an area about 2.5 times the size of Bangkok. Most of that area is empty fields. They have lost a good portion of area to the Ukranians in their own country.

In the negotiations Russia is likely to keep those empty fields, while Ukraine will likely have to give up the Kursk incursion.

Ukraine isn't even invited to the talks in Riyadh.

The Hill is one of the most respected US politcal  websites - it's no Grayzone and I can't see them ever printing anything like this a year ago. The fact that they have tells you all you need to know.

This is the harshest article I've ever seen about Zelensky from a US Mainstream Media outlet - absolutely insane and a sign of the times. If anything the Hill is a left-leaning Democrat source not a conspiraloon rag.

Nice try.

No cigar.

The views expressed by contributors are their own and not the view of The Hill

Ukraine never wanted to hold new lands.

The key for Ukraine is a REAL security guarantee arrangement.

Trump appears not interested in that at all.

have to agree with  Zelensky, Nato is very undecided when it comes to final decisions, always the "if" "but" "what".. in one hand they criticize Putin and send "some" money to Ukraine on the other hand they keep buying Putin's gas and petrol thus financing Putin's war. The amount of money sent to Ukraine are just pennies compared to the amount of money they send to Putin paying for gas and oil, hypocrisy at it's extremes!!!

Zelensky says Putin's whims are blocking NATO decisions

Yes exactly, before the internet you only had TV and newspapers, governments could control the information somewhat, but not now with the net and now social media, they're scrambling to regain control, hense wanting censorship on Fb, blanket ban of RT news.

But truth come out in the end, fornthose staunchly defending Ukrainie and Zelenskey, military and and the stories of Russia losing, its all blowing up in their faces and I for 1 will be laughing nonstop.!!

So, Russia will retreat, as soon as Ukraine has no Army anymore. They will give back all parts they already occupied. That would include Crimea I guess? Thats as convincing as the promise to respect Ukrainian borders if they give back all atomic weapons. That worked well, didn't it?

What Putin and Russian propaganda says is irrelevant. The observed truth is Russia is waging a brutal war of territorial conquest against a legally sovereign Ukraine including war crimes against the civilian population reminiscent of by gone eras. Losing 10,000 tanks does not suggest not wanting to do it.

It's noteworthy that the aggressors in the 20th century wars of conquest did not win. And in each case the aggressors, Germany in WW1, Germany in WW2, and Japan in WW2, were later de-militarized.

It is a bit harder to de-miltarize a state with 5 580 nuclear war heads. The largest stockpile of all countries who have nukes together.

Correction. In days of old we had newspapers, radio, TV, and Russian propaganda.

Storied Russian propaganda dates to late Imperial Russia, reached dizzying heights during Stalin's time going global during the Cold War. The widespread use of whataboutism as a propaganda tool is attributed to the cold war Soviet state.

Do you use an agent for your propaganda scripts or do Putin's office provide them F.O.C.?

You must be very happy in this era of internet, when every low iq person is free to consume as much russian bs propaganda as he wishes.
Can anybody imagine that some 30 years ago there were idealists who used to think that the freedom of information brought by internet will make people more educated and even smarter. No way! They were deeply wrong. Internet is actually ideal for all kind of idiots looking for and finding the confirmations of their stupid biases.

Err  yeah,   only the Russians disseminate propaganda  and only the

"Western mainstream media" tells the truth  🤣  come on !!!

Internet has been and is a revolution for the free communication of thoughts and ideas hence the ongoing attempts at censorship by tyrannical despots of various guises   (to protect the children of course.)

You are  not on the ground in Ukriane, you are not part of any intelligence agencies of either side, your info is 3rd hand at best, just same as everyone elses.

As exposed recently, 9 out of 10 Ukraine outlets funded by USAID.... haha, totally transparent and non bias right!!🙄

Let’s try this:

A. Not all western sources are reporting truth. Some do and some do not.

B. All Russian sources are controlled by one entity (Kremlin) and are producing lies

What about this, more adult approach?

Aye "independent" media funded by USAID - all stopped now. Most of those NAFO clowns seem to have demobbed as well no doubt some of them were feeding on the US taxpayer as well.

For me, it is absolutely clear from a moral standpoint who is right in this conflict and who is not. So, it is not so much a question of being well-informed as it is a matter of moral values above all else. In my opinion, you are a morally deficient person. There is no way I could prove anything to you. To me, you are no different from a cockroach or an ant. Moral values are reserved for human beings.

How about this,  all Ukrainian  sources are controlled via Kiev and are therefore highly suspicious  to say the least   all Russian sources are controlled via Moscow and are also highly suspicious   the western "MSM" are  controlled by those wanting continuous war between "someone and someone else" and therefore are also highly suspicious.... in other words we all should try to listen to all sides/views/opinions  and then try to make up our own minds  who's the bad guy.

Yes, exactly, however RT is blocked in many places, it would seem that one side doesn't won't the other side heard.  I wonder why
