Thailand Implements Financial Requirements for Tourist Visas in 2025
Tourist visa I understand, you are physically going to apply for something which already needed this (last time I was on a 60+30 TV I had to show 60k baht at Georgetown), visa on arrival free entry is dumb, after booking a 14 days all-inclusive in Phuket who's going to want to print out 3 months of bank statements to show at the airport.... -

Trump Mocks France Over WWII Commemorations, Urges Greater U.S. Recognition
Had you been there helping, perhaps one or two of these boys might have lived to come home again. Tell me, was it selfishness or cowardice that kept you away? Personally, I enlisted in ‘67. Not because I thought the war was just, but because my fellow Americans were doing what their country asked of them. I felt it my duty to at least help them. -

Constant hip and leg pain
Wonder if somebody has a solution to my constant hip and leg pains. I am male, 77 years old and no other medical issues. Have this pain in my right hip, right buttock, for about 6 months now, with pain radiation down my leg, upper and lower right-side of the leg. No pain in foot. Pain worst during the night, when laying in bed, sleeping almost impossible, sitting is bad, bending down bad, when laying on my stomach, impossible to raise that leg. Pfff! Have seen 2 doctors, orthopedics, and x-rays do not show any problems. And both don’t know, in just giving muscle relaxants (norgesic) pain-killers (Celebrex) and Berlotin and Gabutin, for neuropathic pain. Seen osteopath, physiotherapists, acupuncture, all to no avail and some make pain even worse. Also have followed many YouTube videos on this subject, thinking about sciatica, piriformis muscle, bursitis, etc etc. Done all the exercises, stretching, cycling, swimming, all give no release. Am coming at my wits end as what the problem might be and who can help me. If anybody has any answers or suggestions, please let me know. Thanks. -

American Passport Renewal Process
I have two citizenships/passports. I plan to enter/exit Thailand as a Russian citizen, and renew my US passport during my stay. Can I get a PO box in Pattaya remotely (online)? I'll arrive to Phuket in 3 weeks, then depart from Bangkok 60 days later. Ideally, I'd like to mail my application from Phuket, then pick up the new passport in Pattaya in 6 weeks or so.
