Popular Post webfact Posted February 7 Popular Post Posted February 7 Screenshot from Daily Mail video by Puntid Tantivangphaisal A British tourist was beaten with high heels and thrown out of a Thai bar by furious female workers after refusing to settle his tab. The middle-aged holidaymaker and his friend were treating a group of young women to drinks at a bar in Pattaya, Thailand’s infamous nightlife hub, when the night took a violent turn. The man allegedly refused to pay the full bill, which included a 50% markup on the women’s drinks, sparking a furious reaction from both the bar staff and the women. Chaotic footage from inside the bar captures the yet-to-be-named British man being pinned to the floor as several women aggressively demand payment. In a brutal assault, they remove their stilettos and repeatedly smash them into his forehead before slapping and kicking him. Screenshot from Daily Mail video One woman is heard shouting, “Take the money from his pocket!” as another reaches for a pool cue, seemingly ready to escalate the violence. Bleeding from a head wound, the stunned tourist struggles to his knees and pleads, “Why are you being nasty? Why are you being nasty?” A concerned bystander steps in, trying to defuse the situation, urging the enraged women to calm down while physically restraining one of them. Meanwhile, a female bar manager in a black dress aggressively orders the Brit out, yelling, “Get the f*ck out of my bar! Do you want more beating?” As the battered tourist stumbles out, the owner delivers a final insult, screaming, “F*ck off!” Screenshot from Daily Mail video “I felt sorry for him because he was hurt but he must respect women when he comes to bars. This is our job.” Pattaya, once a quiet fishing village, transformed into a booming nightlife hotspot in the 1950s when it became a favourite for US troops on leave. Today, it remains notorious for its wild party scene, where incidents like this are far from rare. Screenshot from Daily Mail video Source: The Thaiger -- 2025-02-07 1 1 5 6 36 1

I remember a bunch of years ago when there was a beat down in a local bar here. A youngish foreigner with a bad reputation of abusing girls finally met his match. The girls and a few locals did a real number on him and they also messed up his VW micro bus. He himself was hauled of by an ambulance. Never saw him there again but he is still around in the area. Lesson learned i think. 2 1

This Daily Mail seems as ignorant as the drunk Brit. 1 hour ago, webfact said: The middle-aged holidaymaker and his friend were treating a group of young women to drinks And here lies the surprise. Clueless newbies are often fooled by "one for my friend" until you "entertain" the whole bar. That can add up to a few thousand Baht even in an average beer bar. It's years that I have been to a fancy Gogo. But at the time you had to sign every lady drink bill. No excuse for the unknowing. 1 6

I have noticed a lot of bars now don’t have a cup in front of you where they would place dockets of your alcohol purchases. It’s all done behind the bar and you are presented with the bill upon your leaving. I insist on paying my drinks as I go. Bar staff are not too happy with that arrangement because they know there’s less chance of them ripping you off. 3 1 1 14

thrilled Posted February 7 Posted February 7 I never have a tab. When I get a drink I pay for it right on the spot. He’s lucky it wasn’t worse. I have never had any problems. Usually the other way around 1
Popular Post ChumpChange Posted February 7 Popular Post Posted February 7 11 hours ago, Elvis Presley said: Nice to see the quality tourists are still pouring in! The Wild West ain't got nothin on old Pats! regards, Elvis from Tupelo. Well, who would've thunked it? Sounds like our very own Bung-Bang Bob has found himself in the middle of yet another perilous scandal! Who would believe that the self-proclaimed PR permit aspirant, always one step ahead of the game, would end up as the poor sod getting a thrashing at the hands of a couple of furious bar tarts? Apparently, Blimey-Bob decided to hit up one of Pattaya’s finest piss holes for a night of ladyboy patrolling, probably under the guise of “just a quiet drink” (we all know how that ends). But, alas, Bell-End-Bob doesn’t do “quiet” very well. After a few too many tins and a session of his signature “I’ll pay you later, darling” routine, the bill came, and surprise, surprise, Bobscat thought he could just fob off the ladies with a wink and a promise. Guess he didn’t realize that in Pattaya, even slappers with high heels have a very firm stance when it comes to unpaid dues. It seems that Bobby-Bogart, in his typical fashion, tried to squirm his way out of paying. We all know how much of a tight arse he is when it comes to parting with any of his dosh. He even had a couple of Scott's weld his anose shut for him so that he spends even less. Well, maybe it was all over an extra Leo draft he thought was on the house or perhaps a “fiddle under the table” with one of the skeezers that he thought came free of charge. But lo and behold, the bar mingers weren’t having it. One swift heel to the shin, a couple of well-timed slaps, and Bilbo-Bob found himself backed into a corner, probably muttering something about how “this kind of treatment wasn’t in the brochure", but yet it still kind of turned him on. Oh, but don’t worry, folks, he’s fine. Bullocks-Bob is used to being beaten, metaphorically, at least. He’s had more run-ins with angry waitresses, baht-bus drivers, cashiers, 7-11 gals and hotel receptionists than we care to count. But this time, it seems the unpaid tab and his “Prince of Pattaya” act finally caught up to him. Tell me, Bitter-Bob, when’s the last time you actually paid the bill and didn’t whinge about the service? Seems like your habit of pretending to be a full-fledged baller, but dodging your obligations finally got you in some serious trouble. Maybe next time, instead of handing out the world’s smallest tip and disappearing like Houdini after another Ladyboy fluids exchange, you’ll remember to settle up your full tab before the stiletto squad comes calling you out mate! 2 1 1 5
Popular Post What to do now Posted February 7 Popular Post Posted February 7 I have traveled to Thailand many times. Never had any issues with anyone. It's really easy to stay out of trouble. Speak and treat others respectfully, don't over drink, take a motorbike or taxi if it's late. And very importantly watch your bar tab. 1 4
