Pai is not that big, and any larger group from one etnicity whould probaly managed to make to much disturbanced. I havent been in Pai since covid, but from what I remember and my impressions from before covid, Pai was quiet with a decent group of long term recidense who mixed well with the locals.

As someone has already said here it's the Russians that are causing the most problems here it's time to cancel their visas and kick them out,, Thailand once was a fun place to live but with the increased greed of the powers that be and giving away easy visas comes the rubbish tourists causing more problems then they are worth,, Mr Taksin it's time to stop those visas and kick out the garbage

I seem to recall many many more incidents involving Chinese tourists misbehaving in recent years than Israeli ones. And Russians and others too. But the Thais would never dare to post 'No Chinese' or 'No Russians" signs. Thais seem to have forgotten who murdered 40 of their countrymen on October 7, and took about 30 hostage, beating them every day, according to some who were eventually released.

nobody complains when the brits constantly being named, and I also see Russians, and all other nationalites being named in media, but af Israelis being named, and hell is lose.

Maybe thais blaim Israel for not bringing them home, and instead bombing Gaza back to stone age risking every hostages life have been the problem. People have different views on what was the actual cause and what could have solved the ongoing problem. But this is frankly off topic

Yeah Diaspora Jews haven't been saying Next Year in Boca Raton at Passover for thousands of years.

They've been saying Next Year in Jerusalem.

The pervasive Jewish prayer isn't Shema Boca Raton. It's Shema Yisrael.

The ignorance of Israel demonizers about the demographics of Israelis is remarkable. To me it approaches WILLFUL ignorance.

But I do want to add being pro Zionist (supporting the right of Israel to exist) does not necessarily mean supporting all the policies of the current government of Israel.

I also want to add that today's Jewish diaspora Jews especially younger ones are feeling much less of a personal connection to Israel. But they still for the most part want it to exist. 

Palestinians. Iranians. etc. for the most part do NOT want Israel to exist.

Those reasonings opens up for many excuses for conflicts world wide, who originally lived there 100's and 1000's years ago. 

 

The main problem in middle east, is the religious connections for all  3 Abrahamic religions.

Equating anti-Israeli sentiment is NOT the same as being anti-semitic, despite some Zionists and Netanyahu trying to equate the two. After the recent release of Thai hostages from the hands of Hamas, there is more reason for Thais to be pro Israeli but some Israeli tourists in Thailand completely negate that opportunity with their oaffish behaviour.

Im not either, but I do know that all the real Jews live in NYC and many still wear the Old World hats like Amish folks and that the Israelis act and have the manners of their Arab neighbors.
