The delicate balance of political atmosphere and legal considerations will likely influence any future decisions regarding her re-entry into Thai public life, reported Thai Newsroom.

She fears jail, like all criminals.

Tried by a court under a dictatorship.

I think there's still 2 years to run on the causing death by reckless driving charge, but exactly when in 2027 it expires I'm not sure. No doubt, as with other law evaders, he'll reappear stepping out of his private jet the day after if not apprehended earlier.

Do you think she is innocent?

Or do you think she should not be held accountable because she followed the orders from her criminal brother?

She didn't follow the laws. Guilty as charged.

The UK should have the same policy of holding incompetent and / corrupt politician to account.   In fact the EU should adopt it too.

Thaksin Delays Yingluck's Homecoming: Return to Thailand Uncertain

Speaking with Naewna newspaper on 9th February, Thaksin emphasised that her comeback depends on the "appropriateness" of the timing and situation.

When queried about the specific barriers affecting her return, Thaksin indicated that there are numerous factors at play, without delving into exact details. Despite these hurdles, he mentioned that Yingluck had a strong desire to return, even expressing a wish to fly back as recently as yesterday.

The old Crim hasn't got All the fine Details worked out As Yet.

As of now, Yingluck's return remains under consideration, and no definitive plans have been set. The delicate balance of political atmosphere and legal considerations will likely influence any future decisions regarding her re-entry into Thai public life, reported Thai Newsroom.

So, I thought Thaksin was banned from being involved in politics.  Now it's, okay?  What's next?  Will the Red Bull guy be allowed to come back and then be put in charge of the Highway Safety Department?  (Asking for a friend)

Too many people believing that whatever a coup making anti constitutional junta says is true.

I assume she had a Diplomatic Thai Passport at the time of her departure and that would have been revoked and renewal not possible through a Thai Embassy. What her visa status is in the UK and on what PP I don't know. Maybe she is dual Thai/Uk citizen? I am deeply concerned she will be rejected at the airport check-in desk or Immigation due to lack of documentation if she tries to return on a commercial flight.😋
