You are parroting the Democrat line.

I would bet your feelings toward Taylor Swift were neutral or even positive prior to Trump launching his diatribe of hatred and venom towards her. Like many of his followers you are simply towing the party line and parroting his hatred, perhaps without even a conscious thought about it.

Trump himself likely never gave her a second thought, until she started speaking publicly, with rather pointed criticism of the man, which he richly deserved.

He is so oversensitive, he's so thin skinned, he's such a petty lightweight, that he simply cannot handle an insult at all, he wilts like a wallflower and must engage in a hateful diatribe. He's very predictable in that regard. This is who and what he is. A petty bully.

Most pop singers are bimbos. Most rappers are idiots. Nothing to do with Trump. Unlike yourself I'm not obsessed with the orange man and can think rationally. You liberals are offended by caps.

I'm not a liberal I'm a Centrist Democrat, but it's very likely you wouldn't know the difference. Few liberals are highly supportive of the death penalty, and are against abortion after the first trimester, I could go on. It's very likely that you label all Democrats as communists, traitors, and socialists. And that could not be further from the truth, the vast majority of Democrats in America are Centrists.

This will be my last reply to you, I don't like dancing in circles with someone who is rather poorly informed.

Ok liberal.

No they are just stupid. Biden had the most covid deaths in history then hides the total figures. Had the most war deaths since 1994 then claims Trump is dangerous. Had the worst border controls ever. Had the worst inflation in 40 years. Anyone with any intelligence did not vote Democrat in 2024.

Like watching paint dry and half time show was awful !

I am not a Kendrick Lamar super fan, but both his "Mr Morales and the High Steppers" and "GNX" albums are excellent.

I detected choreographic influences in the performance from both the infamous Apple 1984 commercial as well as Fritz Lang's 'Metropolis.'

Also want to give a shout out to the live camera work. The coordination required split second timing in order to follow Kendrick or whoever was singing and then get out of the way for the pull back shots. That would have been challenging enough to do if you were making a music video which you could splice together in the editing room, but that was a live performance.

For those of you who chose to take a bathroom break during the show, here's another chance:

I must admit I was very surprised at the results of the Superbowl. I thought Kansas City would win easily, but that obviously did not happen. As far as the halftime show, I watched the first couple minutes and then ignored it until the game restarted.

So you guys agree...

I have seen 59 Super Bowls and 58 of the half times shows were pretty good.  This one was not but I understand that these things are not for me anymore.  I hope next year they get a performer who can speak English.

A great rundown of the symbolism that many seemed to have missed.

Remember. Half time shows at the Super Bowl are never just shows.

I'm not a fan of his music, but in the current climate his performance was brave and culturally important. 👏

Honestly I didn't watch the halftime show.

And given that the score was 34-0 with 2:40 to go in the third quarter, the game was way worse than the halftime show.

The Eagles could have easily outdone their 55 points against the Commanders in the NFC Championship game, had they not let up.

Massive defensive and offensive lines and a return of the running back signaled a potential shift in roster-building, but then they always said defense wins championships.

I suppose if they wanted to include your ilk they could have included some white hoods and capes.

Last gasp of DEI

(No white folks were injured or performed in the show)

The half time 'show' was unwatchable. (IMO)  Although, I must admit 'some' of your assessment I agree with.

Masterful, sublime, heroically courageous, revolutionary, transcending, spellbinding, explosive, unforgettable, visually arresting, impeccably choreographed, empowering, invigorating, life-force awakening, iconic, put simply....sheer genius.

Great analysis. Learned a lot. Maybe some of you will as well.

I'm thrilled your super happy. I saw it and it was stupid.

To all the ASEANNOW morons who blithely attempt to dismiss and marginalize his music as "urban" or "ghetto", it's far more mainstream than you apparently have deluded yourself into believing. He's been around for well over 10 years, has numerous chart topping hits, and won a Pulitzer prize for his album DAMM. I hate to break to break the news to you, but some of the people who have made derisive comments on this thread have only succeeded in embarrassing themselves. I'm not begging people to appreciate his music. I'm trying to raise awareness that there's a lot more there than some here realize.

P.S. You should have used "you're" as a contraction of "you are" instead of the possessive pronoun "your" in the above sentence, Mr. 'it was stupid.'

Good music for teenagers.

Another cheap shot attempt to denigrate the sophistication of his music. A quick google search for the age and racial demographics of his fan base would have told you he enjoys a very diverse fan base both in terms of age and race.

Makes my point. Pretty funny too.
