Coincidently, wife chit chatting with Sis in Law, lives at Bakersfield, CA, USA, and did get on the subject of egg prices.  No, don't know how, but, stated eggs now $.27, for one egg.

 

I'm like, no way.  OK, CA, so maybe.  Quick Google 'egg price Walmart' ..

... Holy Crap ... way 

 

 

Also coincidently, we bought eggs today (we eat a lot of), and ...

$4.19 /  ฿143 for tray of 30.

$4.23 @ Walmart ... 6 eggs 

 

And not much difference, savings, if buying a dozen or 30 eggs, WTF

 

Thankfully for her brother & SIL, they raise chickens for the eggs, at the restaurant the run, at Bakersfield.

 

They culled chickens ?  Unbelievable ...
