Not intended to attack others.

Just quoted it as an example of what money can buy here, in response to someone's post.

I don't believe my texts looks like accusing those in that sort of deal though.

If you take it things that way, I suspect you must be paranoid.

you seem to have issues... get over it...

Thailand's efforts to combat corruption have taken a step back

It starts from the top... how much did Thaksin pay to gain his freedom?

And it cascades down into almost every aspect of having to deal with officials or companies.

The authorities should probe their own recruitment methods and why money is required to purchase a promotion and merit is never a consideration. Then they should probe the administration and do the same. Then they should probe customs, immigration, all tambon, state and federal recruitment. Then the police. It is all the same. Filthy from top to bottom. No promotions without payment. Corruption, at all levels. A completely broken system.

This is excellent news. It is just a mirror for Thailand. If you don't make a sincere effort, you pay the price. Yak, yak, yak, but you don't do anything. Egg on the face is often the only way this creepy government makes any progress.

The most familiar example: Some expats and immigration(through visa broker).

Visa extension without meeting prescribed requirements...

They meet the requirements using agent/immigration services.

About 50% are doing it this way and leaving thier money in a decent interest rate paying bank account.

E.G. 300 baht to cops' pocket, instead of 500B traffic ticket...

And tickets issued in the last 3 years are deemed unlawful.

Because there's no right to appeal printed on them.

not really win win though.

pigs catch me on camera... I throw that one in the trash.

I got one the other day.

128 in a 90 zone.

Buriram road.

(Its impossible to speed because of the condition of the roads)

Absolutely rubbish.

And 500 baht fine.

But I see that any tickets issued in the last 3 years are deemed invalid.

Because no right to appeal printed on them.

I’m not surprised Thailand’s not ranked tire up on that list I mean look at these examples here supposedly international red note for the red ball kid but nothing ever happened a criminal leaves Thailand for a 15 or 17 years flies in in his jet very healthy once an hour he’s so sick that he spends a few months in a suite in a hospital and then he’s released With the promise not to get involved in politics where you see how that went and now he’s talking about bringing his sister back this place smells from corruption let’s look at big joke whatever happen with that deal it’s correct from the top to the bottom it’s designed that way from the cops to the principles to the governors it’s all corruption in Thailand TIT

Mr. Thaksin started as a policeman....🙄...now he is a billionaire! I wonder what the price was to return to Thailand and continue the same way as before. Soon another of the family will join him from Dubai! I am certain of it! Then it will all be same same all over....😂

During the previous military regime, there was some crack down on that.

But the head of the immigration responsible for that(police General) was only transferred out to nearby province.

And after that, business as usual(he continuing on his old  backdoor trade) LOL.

After all, it is a kind of Victimless Offence.

Just like illegal foreign workers here; filling in the vacancies no one else applies for.

Haha you mean watchboy DPM bought all his watches on his soldier’s salary?

That military regime wasn’t cracking down

They were removing the competition

I am afraid, it is you who rather got an issue (with my post or this whole topic of this thread) LOL.

Didn't you notice, more excitement and overreaction you show, it is giving away your Sense of Guilt(of being a beneficiary of that backdoor deal)?

Don't worry. I am nothing like a police  informer or online snooper; just quote a slice of Thai fact lightly.

So relax and use your time and energy to enjoy your life here...

Not surprising.

With all those immigration officers fixing long stay marriage visas for 30'000 THB for people who do not even have the 400k in the bank. It's openly done and totally hassle free and one even gets the "fast track" lane once at the immigration office to get stamped.

What are you on about? If one wants a marriage extension and does not have 400k to hand, then he uses the income method. 40k per month remitted from abroad. I've been doing it for years.

All perfectly legitimate and no corruption involved at all.

Hey, now the US can participate in greasing palms, as Trump has ended enforcement of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. I guess he understands there are many aspects to the "art of the deal."

...or Thaksin.

Embodiment of China puppet here.

In 2012 ASEAN summit in Cambodia, he did his best to sabotage all Asean's collective defense against Chinese expansionism.

Also selling away tens of millions of own people's personal info to another country; AIS sell off to Sin Tel(now owned by Temasek Holdings) over a decade ago.

*Sin Tel=telecommunication corporation of Singapore.
