JD is still in election mode for his US audience. Like a fish out of water outside his personal space. A disgraceful initial performance on the world stage.

  • The title of this thread should read: " JD manages to alienate a few more allies".

  • America was only too happy to have Australian boots on the ground in a number of its military adventures.   You should read history, instead of trying to revise it.

It's ironic that you label Denmark, 'exploitive colonists' when that is the exact role you want the US to adopt.

We will make Greenland rich.

Not enough. I wonder how much they owe us from WW2.

Time for hard truths. Guess we know why we have so much hysteria here from the folks whose boot is being lifted off the people.

Greenland obviously prefers to follow its' own path to wealth. As believers in democracy, I'm sure that the US can understand and support that aim.

Presumably Denmark and/or Greenland are repaying any financial debts owed to the US. If not, I'm sure that President Trump would have made the world aware of the default.

I noticed the Greta remark didn't get any laughter as they know they were all involved in pushing that gremlins BS, truth hurts, Musk should audit that whole conference, bet there are untold backhanders flying around.... i can here the usual AN suspects here immediately jump on the defense.... 'leave the Munich conference alone...we want corruption not transparency'!

Was there a referendum recently?. No one cares what that exploitive, colonialist country Denmark says, btw. How many divisions do they have?

I know Denmark well, it can be accused of things but certainly not exploitative colonialism.

It did step up to the plate and took part in the American led campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan, some of there young men and women died.

How many divisions do they have? Wasn't it Stalin who originated that quote?

US money and non-human resources  were invaluable in both conflicts, but to say that the US saved Europe is over stating matters.

The US did not officially enter WW1 until 1917. WW1 would almost certainly have lasted longer without US involvement, but a German victory was far from certain.

Similar story for WW2 except that the sheer number of Russian troops would have probably meant that the Allies would have won even without US boots on the ground.

The link you posted is an interesting read. However, far from proving that direct US involvement was crucial to the Allied victory, it highlights how the two world wars actually benefitted the US by establishing and solidifying the US's position as the world's banker.

US lent thousands of machines to the USSR to defeat Germans. US does not owe these ungrateful bastards a thing.

Lend Lease

Perhaps.

But, do we really care?

Are those allies worth having as allies, anyway?

What are they good for....specifically?

I say:  Our policy should be a scorched-earth policy.

Let's burn them, and then begin again.

Their thinking is just too....non-aligned with our interests.

Let's have a scorched-earth policy, whereby we...

a. Sterilize

b. Begin a reeducation, and then...

c. Support only those that are willing to fall in line.

Hold their feet to their fire.

This is the only thing that works, and is just human nature.

Is JD the Antichrist?

NO.

JD is the antithesis of the "Antichrist".

So?

By you guys, do you mean the British or the Danes?

If you mean the British then your question reveals stunning ignorance, such that it is not worth dignifying with an answer!

If you mean the Danes then 29 Danish ships took part in the invasion, one, the "Aero", transported troops and armoured vehicles to Omaha Beach. Individual Danish aircrew flew with the RAF during the invasion, individual Danish soldiers served with the British Army.

Wonderful. Well on the world scale, they are worth Nepal or something like that. Nice place Im sure with the cheese and windmills and wooden shoes and the kid peeing in the harbour and expensive food. They used Krags in WW2, like the ones we ditched in 1898, cool vintage guns though,

Probably full of Muslims and censorship now too..

OK, well if you are a Dane, Im sorry, if you are European, Im sorry but there is a new sheriff in town so deal with it like mature adults. JD says it all

By 1944 Ford was building a four-engine B-24 Liberator heavy bomber ever hour, American shipyards were building three Liberty transport ships (>400',>10,000DWT) every two days, and 40 Sheman tanks a day.

Briton saved the world, but they had a lot of help.

Yes. let's do that. Junk the fat-headed deal for $360 billion worth of obsolete nuclear submarines.

Australia can start by putting reciprocal tariffs on every American product. The US has a positive balance of trade.

Then we can tell you to remove all your secret bases which make us a nuclear target. What the hell, it only neuters half your surveillance capabilities in your race with China.

Afterwards, nationalize all American assets in Australia.

You need us more than we need you.

I apologize for my lousy grammer and spelling I had to start working young please be specific about the freedom hating Cunard and if your leaches comment has do do with military matters they don’t have nearly the facilities nore the commitments we do here in the states.if that comment is directed towards the trade deficit that’s because WE BUY STUFF more than we sell.even a poorly educated one as myself can EASILY understand that
