You see what kind of tourist the different scenes attracts, and not to mention, how many destinations have physically changed after the illusion of legal recreational smoking have led to.

 

And if you are not aware, I personally have noticed the flow of dmt and cocain have reached new levels in Thailand.

 

I have the two last months travelled islands south east and on the west coast. 

 

I like to believe you have no idea what's really going on, and how the parry scene have changed. 

 

Things that before was limited to Koh Phangan once or twice a month events, and a few smaller arenas, is now spread out to beaches and Islands which only had a few bars where you could have a joint in peace and quiet, and didn't bother anyone else.

What i see is that fewer and fewer young people are drinking and doing drugs and the bars are generally populated by people in their 30s and up.

 

Obviously they are not placing foreigners "under surveillance" they have neither the time or the resources. What they are indicating , regardless of the translation, is a more visible and pro active presence in certain areas.  Joe bloggs in nakon nowhere can rest easy.  Cannot think why the headline would be worded that way, honest I can't

Cocaine has been readily available across Thailand since  Thaksin and Purachai's war on drugs shut the door on a flourishing MDMA club scene. 

MDMA wasn't entirely banished, it just became more niche and difficult to obtain while cocaine was available, delivered,  with a simple text message.

 

 Cocaine was and remains a staple of Thailand's nightlife. It is everywhere.

 

DMT is a more specialized high and it can be synthesized from any number of common Thai plants. it is generally a homegrown drug like mushrooms,

DMT  is an experience rather than a party drug . The high is brief, internalized, and does not linger, but does incapacitate the user for a few minutes. There are places, especially on the islands that offer dmt, but you wont see it in the clubs or at parties. its a hippy thing.

Shame if they’re going to lob all of us in the same box , as all I ever do is come over with my wife spend a month repairing the family homes and buying food and drink to give out to the locals at the local temples .

I repeat if you did not understand my point: I have noticed places that was free for these drug tourists, are now their new playground for their drug party holidays. Kids and also elderly who seeks out these arenas, used to stay in jungle parties in Laos, now they seek out new territories in Thailand who now made it possible for the drug business to establish themselves new pristine places. 

 

I have travelled more than 20 years to these places and know what I'm talking about.

Police to Monitor Foreign Nationals Close....

It's time for all foreigners to closely monitor the national police chief and all his force since the RTP is probably regarded by Thais and foreigners alike as being the most corrupt organisation in Thailand.

Cambodia, from what I see, is foreigners generally behaving better than they do in Thailand in the Temple Town of Siem Reap, at least.

 

Atmosphere a lot more chilled.

 

However, there is a growing number that can't fulfil Thailand's extended or long term stay requirements that have moved down there.

 

Those guys don't have a good word about Thailand, but they are mostly underfunded people.

Just a distraction until PM2.5 gets back to top of news story... absolutely nothing will change
