Many men are stuck here with a wife and family so they are going nowhere, single guys can move away for 6+ months if needed

...so can married men.

if they have an understanding wife that is...

Bob.

Yeah but most men are at least trying to pretend it's a real relationship

I have a Thai woman and we've already discussed this, if there ever comes a time for me to pay taxes here in Thailand we will be out of the country for more than 6 months a year.

There is no way I will even pay a thousand baht in taxes here for the rest of my life.

Why would she have to leave?

Really you will stay outside the country for 6 months rather than pay a thousand baht?  Are you staying that to make a point or are you serious?

I save a lot of money living here rather than my home country so it will require my tax bill be a lot higher than USD 30 to spent 6 months in a different country. I should decide what my line is but unless they go to a global income tax it is not going to make it worth leaving the country for me.
