The truth is not your side of the story. Anger does not go far here

Letsee if I've got this right, random stranger applies for eVisa and lucks-out with 2-day turnaround.  Instead of appreciating his good luck, he now expects countries to "snap" when he reapplies.  And after not getting same turnaround and not willing to call consulate, wants to complain to entire government, even accusing consulate people of corruption.

Is this about right?

Well if not happy the way immigration performs.... DON'T come here...

That's what he meant by one day.

BTW : I also have never received an eVisa overnight.

I often obtain eVisa to Vietnam and that a 4-5 day turn around.

In any event you can continue to complain  or as suggested obtain the Non O in Thailand from visa exempt entry.

Unless you are on Samui.

Well, I was checking about the VE on arrival is just a tourist visa for 15 days and have to pay 2000 thb,

is this type of visa (tourist) convertible to a non-o visa?

Again: Non-O (family visa), Not to be confused and mentioned non-o with extended b, c, d, etc.. or 1 year, etc,,

JUST NON-O single, that's all

Is it possible to apply for a non-o (single entry) on arrival at the border or not? in case to print the family paper as the previous procedure, birth certs of the kids, ID cards, the spouse ID and other dox,

As I am in KB, closed to the bored, this on arrival VE can be obtained from a land border or by air? just to know if anyone experienced with similar case,

In the past couple of decades I applied and obtained Thai visas dozens of times,

Categories: non-ED, B, non-o,

Applied in Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, south Korea,  the process never took more than 3 days,

Always in 1 or 2 days done!

And regarding the e-visa, I applied the first time in December 2024, and received it in the next day!!
I can't understand why many comments replied as trying to say that I am a new comer to this matter of e-visa, or have no idea about Thai visa processing, etc,, why taking the topic to such aside fallacies instead to focus on the main point and how can we find a solution? without having accumulated experiences in this process I won't even know about or come to share my complain here, I will just ask and get to know about, brainless!

What you don't understand is that it's working as intended.  Foreign embassies are for you to get a visa at home before you travel to another country. For someone that lives in Malaysia they would plan ahead and live their daily life while waiting for the visa so it's no problem.  The embassies have grown wary of foreigners using the Thai embassies in SE Asia to try and live in Thailand and not do things the normal way. They've purposely made the processing times long to dissuade this behavior and make it difficult and inconvenient.  It seems it's working on you, but not enough to prevent you from applying in the first place.

Seems that you obtained a NON O-A Visa.

That visa is valid for one year and is multiple entry.

It also requires insurance.

Obtained only in home country or country where you have Permanent Resident status.

This thread is not about Non O-A.

The OP is trying to obtain a Non O single entry.

I don't know why as he can enter Thailand visa exempt and obtain a Non O at local immigration office.

There is also a Multiple entry Non O which is no longer available.

I can understand your reply, but the post I replied to specifically stated that the non o-a one year multiple entry retirement e-visa was currently unavailable.

I was asking for  source references.

So you stated the following .....

"The one year, multiple entry retirement visa I applied for and received 18 months ago in my home country was an e-visa"

Try and obtain another ME Non O retirement eVisa and get back to me.

Plenty reports of that visa no longer available.

Not that's it proof however I provided quote from @Tod Daniels and I bank that.

Thread discussing this here.

Thai Government departments move at their own pace. As you have been advised earlier the Department of Protocol at the MFA is probably the  place to lodge your complaint, best in written Thai. Don't expect much by way of a response, and beware of exposing yourself to a defamation case. Unlikely from a government department, but not unknown.

I still insisting this issue replied of personal stubborn manner, not related to policy to take such a long processing, pending checking, bla bla bla,,, it took 14 days already and still pending?????? doing what like this???

Anyway, will do the proper action accordingly.

You said, quote, "I still insisting this issue replied of personal stubborn manner"

It comes across that it is you - by your  own personal and stubborn insistence that it be resolved, that you are unwilling to accept any advice from this forum.

By complaining so publicly, you can guarantee that the officials involved will just dig their heels in even further and you will receive no help whatsoever.

Lighten up and politely, (in a pleasant manner), contact them and enquire if there is something you can do to speed up the process.

That's how things are resolved in Thailand - you smile a lot, act and speak in a friendly and don't raise your voice or speak badly to them.

Without that - you will get nowhere.

It's quite easy, .............try it.

Good luck!
