Featured Replies

Thais give lifts to monks often.

The only inappropriate thing is not wearing a t-shirt when you do it and take a selfie with them half naked

  • Well done to the bike lads, excellent gesture. The monks accepted the ride, so their choice.

  • What is the problem? All parties look extremely happy; this should be a celebratory story.

  • it could bring disrepute to the religion   They can do that by themsleves without any help thank you

They cannot win whatever they do, it will never be good enough for the holier than thou Thais!

I worked with monks in new Zealand for a few years and when I came here they took me to see the highest monk in Thailand, whom was my nz

friends mentor.

They took me all over Bangkok and I stayed friends with them for years, helping them sometimes. Giving a couple of monks a lift is good karma, well done lads.

If a monk doesn't care how he goes from point A to B, why should anyone else.
