Are your taxes going to go down then.......?  😂

Have you not read about Trumps 25% tariffs that will affect you Americans......🤣

Trump and Biden had tariffs before. 190 nations have them. Pensioners with no idea should not pretend they have one.

The CiC is a coward who refused to serve his country because he wouldn't have access to the orange glow machine.   The only country since WW2 to invoke the NATO articles has been the USA.

The DoD basically get kit at a discount price. Development is funded by the DoD through programmes, and then they expect a discount, and manufacturers charge a premium to other buyers, who are generally fiends and allies, because only they get the export licences.

This sudden enthusiasm for re-industrialisation is good news for European arms manufacturers (Babock, Thales, BAE, Rheinmettal (sp)). Bad news for US arms maker, who were an export success. Costs will likely rise in order to preserve corporate warchests (the defence industry doesn't exactly have a flat revenue profile, and contrary to many assumptions, companies are always trying to work out how they can get out of it, diversify. Its a real pain to go ask the government for permission everytime you send a salesman overseas or invite a customer over for a factory tour.

Its a staggering statistic that 60% of Americans in Iraq weren't in uniform. They were contractors, keeping rapidly deployed systems running.

What wouldn't surprise me is  the Americans blocking the transfer of American made munitions purchased by Europe to Ukraine. I'd also expect tariffs to be employed for force Europe to buy weaponry.

Then there is Starlink. Musk could shutdown Starlink access for Ukraine, but open it up for Russia. But, that will be the death knell for that company, because who would trust it. Its not the only space based internet service based provider in town.

What a fantasy, aside from the fact that there is NOBODY that can do what Starlink does, Starlink is so much more than the myopic view you seem to have. Hardly a death knell.

It'd take the french company 10 yrs to get to where Starlink is today, they have a whopping 600 satellites in orbit, to Starlinks 7000+ and only because they bought OneWeb

Did have plenty of profits to be made, especially since privatizing the war ... GO CHENEY

There is no question that the Saudis were responsible for 9/11, and they're likely continuing to sponsor terror to this day. If you want to single out enemies of many states, certainly Saudi Arabia is one of them.

And not only is their brand of Wahhabism completely repulsive, nobody should ever be allowed to migrate, if they are a Saudi national, unless they can prove no adherence to that violent and extremist faith.

The USA stole all the scholars from Europe during WW2
Werner von Braun, etc.
Without them you would still be fighting the native Indians with your guns.
Even Elon Musk with his Starlink is not an USA citizen but from South-Africa.
Pathetic Amerucan way of thinking.

Typical liberal, muddy the water with things that aren't being talked about because you have nothing. Then try a clever insult on your way out. So predictable.

To be clear, we didn't steal them, they chose to work for us instead of death. It was a bad trade, should have killed them all.

What does Elons nationality have to do with anything ?  What a odd way to think. Theres a reason he's not in S. Africa doing Starlink. Hmm, I wonder what that could be ?

It's time for the gutless Europeans to build a real army and defend themselves.   The US has been subsidizing the defenses of Europe since the end of WW2 at a great expense to the US taxpayer.

The US has been planning and prepared to fight WW3 in Europe before it ever reaches the U.S.

Things have changed.

You need to review your history.  The war in Afghanistan was a direct response to 9/11.  It started a few weeks after 9/11 and the goal was to destroy the Taliban who planned the 9/11 attacks.

Taliban? Are you sure?

Osama bin Laden; Saudi Arabia

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed; born in Kuwait, but parents from Pakistan’s Balochistan province.

Mohammed Atta; Egypt.

Most of the other eighteen of the operatives were from Saudi Arabia.

Al Qaeda was based in Afghanistan, they had to be taken out. Taliban was full in support of AQ, so no problem with getting rid of them. Going into Iraq was where everything went wrong. Who did that anyway?!

Saudi ... The US ok's a private charter back to Saudi, post 9/11. That for VIP types, including some who likely knew & aided Al Qaeda operatives. That was done under jrBush, the last Republican president before Donald Trump. Hmm and now we have another Republican in office. One wonders who he is helping?! Rhetorical question we all know who he helps. The US has a 'Manchurian President'.

Sometimes the bad guys present themselves as the good guys and the good guys are presented as the bad guys.

You write that going into Iraq was where everything went wrong. But of course it didn't start there. This is all about resources.

Think about the first Iraqi invasion. That was about Kuwait drilling into Iraqi oilfields. Now why would such a tiny country provoke a much larger country in that way?

Second Iraqi invasion was because Saddam Hussein didn't want to do a resources deal with them. So the old playbook comes out and he becomes dangerous enemy number one who needs to be taken out.

Al-Qaeda began as a logistical network to support Muslims fighting against the Soviet Union during the Afghan War; members were recruited throughout the Islamic world. When the Soviets withdrew from Afghanistan in 1989, the organization dispersed but continued to oppose what its leaders considered corrupt Islamic regimes and foreign (i.e., U.S.) presence in Islamic lands.

From their perspective, they see these unjust things happening and chose to fight against it.

I prefer to have a balanced mind than to blindly swallow what one side is trying to feed me.

I love this.
Yesterday:
US - "Assad must go.  The dictator Assad kills his own people."
Syria had elections, Assad troops fought Al-Queda and ISIS.

Today:
Al-Queda comes to power in Syria.
Leader states "No Elections For Next Four Years."
Leader is Al-Queda terrorist with a $10 million USD bounty.
US - Nothing to see here.  Leader Al-Jolani is a good guy, we even took the 10 mil bounty off his head. He even wears a suit!
In the meanwhile, Al-Jolani's Al-Queda are killing Syrian Druse, Alawite, Christians, and anyone connected with the past government.  This is called "A Democracy" and "Peace" and "Freedom."

Yes, Al-queda took over Syria and nobody batted an eye.

The US & UK  literally backing terrorists, well until they removed them from the terrorist organisation lis!!

Not a single thread about it here, the MSM haven't told the usual sheep to be outraged.

It seems he is more interested in showing the World he is the new dictator, we saw that in his disgraceful outburst with Zel.

Your man is a fruitcake, even picking a fight now with Canada...........😱

Still, the few years of his nonsense will soon pass, so the pieces can be picked up, and common sense prevail...:clap2:
