Trump alarmed by disturbances at GOP town halls after first-month mayhem

Trump wrote on Truth Social on Monday:

"Paid 'troublemakers' are attending Republican Town Hall Meetings. It is all part of the game for the Democrats, but just like our big LANDSLIDE ELECTION, it's not going to work for them!"

(No Donald, please, please stop your continuous lying, you didn't win by a landslide. You got 49.9% of the popular vote compared to 48.3% for Harris).

NBC News reported that Republicans had largely cancelled town hall meets amid fear of blowback from Trump's actions.

One Republican senator who went through with a town hall meeting faced people furious at Trump.

Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS) quickly ended the town hall event last week following angry protests over Trump's DOGE-related cuts.

What they really mean is blowback from unhinged lefties who just hate Bad Orange Man, no matter what he does.

Yeah, but that's not how we count it in the USA.  The results were 312 to 226.  That's an impressive thumping.

Play by the rules as they are.  Not as you wish they were.

So trump voters are unhinged lefties now?

The people who are disrupting the Repub town halls aren't Trump voters.  They're shills, appearing only to disrupt.

Edit:  And according to the OP, Trump thinks they're being paid.  I suspect that he's correct, but I make no such claim.

It is clearly stated in the OP:

And don't stop being you.  But I suggest reading Scott Adams' "Loserthink".  It perfectly explains so many of these attack posts with no redeeming underlying value.

Well, if Trump said it, then it must be true.

Australians have an expression for it, that's coming the raw prawn.

He should order SecDef to deploy the U.S. Military to put down protests.

You know, in the name of "free speech".

What thumping?

Trump received 49.8 % of the votes (77.3 million) and Harris 48.3% of the votes (75.0 million).  Trump received 2.3 million votes more than Harris (according the the NBC News website).

That is not a thumping, it is a close result.  Also it indicates the undemocratic nature of the US Electoral College system.

The filthy scamming ,grifting conman is very very easy to hate.

He'll soon be inciting the Jan 6 -types to attack the town hall attendees.  That's the way the brown shirts did it back in the good old days.

Are you serious? Obama got more elector votes both times: 365 in 2008 and 332 in 2012. Trump barely beat Biden's 2020 results. Sorry: he's hanging on by his fingernails, even if you want to pretend otherwise, and will get creamed in the midterms.

Pretty optimistic there, IMO there will be something of a coup before the end of North American summer.

Facts are above your ability to comprehend I guess. Anything that shows the truth has to be spun by cultist to something different to create your imaginary universe. There are top GOP stating the same concerns and shocked at his and vance's actions losing their $hit on Z's visit but I guess they are Dems in disguise right?

2.3m is an easy win. Next.

Trump will do or say anything to deflect from the fact that his poll numbers are dropping his support is dropping and people are reacting to his unique brand of mayhem, economic destruction, chaos, and world wrecking.

Republican voters are speaking out at these Town Halls in a very angry fashion, as they are highly offended that the man that they voted for is causing them to lose their jobs, increasing the cost of goods, and lowering world security. It's pretty simple really. They are hugely disappointed with both him and Musk.
