In a chilling incident at Thung Sanin Temple in Kamphaeng Phet, Thai dancer Warayuth Somsanook narrowly escaped a grave situation after consuming a mystery drink laced with a sexual stimulant. The incident, which occurred during a performance by the Mor Lam Jai Kern Roi band, unfolded when an audience member handed Warayuth a drink, claiming there was a reward if he consumed it.

Unbeknownst to Warayuth, the drink was spiked with a potent amount of a sexual stimulant, far exceeding human tolerance levels. This caused him to suffer a severe shock and collapse during his performance. Quick medical intervention ensured his safety, allowing him to recover in hospital.

This alarming episode has drawn widespread condemnation. The band's official Facebook page strongly criticized the audience member's dangerous actions, urging such incidents to serve as cautionary tales for performers. The temple monks also expressed their disapproval, with some locals suspecting the act was intended to tarnish the reputations of both the temple and the renowned Mor Lam band.

Reports indicate the suspect is an LGBTQIA+ individual dressed in a white T-shirt. Authorities from the temple are collecting evidence for potential legal action.

Warayuth, now discharged from the hospital, extended his heartfelt thanks to the temple monks and band supporters who provided comfort and assistance during his recovery. This incident underscores the importance of safety and vigilance in public performances, leaving a lasting lesson for artists and their communities, reported The Thaiger.
