A year ago met a very cute little miss and we hit off from the very first night. Bought her a few things for her dump of a room but no cash asked for.

 

Things started to get more serious in a short time then came the "demand" for monthly salary of 45,000 a month. For that she would come stay with me most of the time but wanted to keep her room and go back stay sometimes. I just said I would not pay that even if I could afford it. So she just said she would go back to working at bar to which I said good luck ad that was the end.

 

During the short relationship red flags were raised and I found out later she was visiting other men at same time.

Ma Dad was sole bread earner, always gave everything to the family. His life was Work, made him proud.

 

With my first wife we shared all accounts and assest, but she was earning, about a fifth of my income, even though we were more "equal" early days.

 

I have a joint account with my new wife. She owns the house and cars, She earns 20-30k a month and I give her 25k for pocket money and a car loan.

Agree, and having enough, or just a wee bit more, allowing an oops fund, has always worked for me.  I don't need a $1M USD.  My 'free time' is way more important than making more money.

 

I find making money is easy, but doesn't really add to my happiness.  A wee bit of the opposite, as can be time consuming, at times.

I built a house on her family land ( not a luxury one). I pay for all what are needed for daily life. She pays for all unrelated, even for her personal things. Hotels and restaurants are on me. She owned 2 Japanese restaurants in past, but she is retired now, just like me. We help each other if anyone of us needs help about something (not financially). A few months ago she spent 2 weeks at a hospital and I was with her almost all the time (only went home to get some asleep, out of home 4:30am, back home 4:00pm, sometimes 6:00pm. 
No daily, monthly, or annual salary. It's something close to a western relationship. 
We are not together for money, not me, not her.
