Why not Diana Sosoaca ? Because she is anti EU and anti Nato. We can't have that , can we ?

George Simion better keep his mouth shut about that or he wil be bumped too.

From the article

"The CCR argued that her public discourse, including opposition to Romania’s European Union and NATO memberships, made her unfit to uphold the constitutional obligations of the presidency."

How Soviet.

You mean the graduate of Yale thats a combat vet.?

The Senate approved his qualifications

Keep peeing in the breeze

When Waitz had decades of experience with the National Guard, every right-winger rushed to say he was not a real soldier.

When Hegseth has the same experience, he morphs into a combat vet.

Lying again, but I am used to that from you.

The Senate would approve a drover's dog for the job of finding truffles.

No problem with peeing, as long as it is in your direction.

Off topic, but are you claiming Tim was a combat vet?

Are you claiming that Hegseth is not?

Dont bother its off topic. Americans know.

I am claiming Waitz and Hegseth both served in the National Guard.

While Hegseth was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, it was not in a combat role. Describing him as a combat vet is stretching the truth beyond breaking point, quite a normal experience with your posts.

You have to do better than that as you seem to have answers for everything.

I certainly don't have the answers for everything but I have opinions on subjects where I have some knowledge e.g. the EU.

I avoid commenting on subjects where I have little knowledge. It works for me. I don't have a patent on it, so feel free to try it out yourself.

We may see a new “Maidan” type of revolution but this time it may backfired because Obama’s Under Secretary of State Victoria Nuland is not there to fan the flames.

I'd suggest that depends on the results of May's re-run election.

In any event, Romania 2025 is different to Ukraine 2014. Imo you are correct: The US did 'fuel the flames' of the Maïdan révolution but it was exactly that: The fire was already raging. Assuming that the Trump administration has any interest in reducing Russian influence in Romania this time, the US will have to be a lot more direct and active.

Hmmmm..... sure, I will provide you with some facts.

Recently Trump and his administration overruled a judges decision/verdict. That without asking the American people what they think. Do the majority really want a President and an administration that overrules judges decisions?

After that, scrapping agreement in automatic fashion. For example, the PEPFAR program? Do the people of the US want that scrapped? Wouldn´t it be better with questioning the peoples opinion before scrapping such important program?

You really should familarise yourself with some of the basic facts about the relationship between the individual member states and the EU institutions.

Here's a basic fact: the national laws of EU member states are of secondary importance to EU laws, so judicial independence is worth little.

I cannot because there is no EU law mandating  how member States must hold national elections. So your argument is invalid.

We are seeing more of these silly inane and juvenile threads on this forum lately, all for the sake of defending a politician who is a complete failure in life, has put forth ridiculous and extreme policies, and seems hellnent on destroying the world economy.

The correct title of the article should be "the US under its current leader hates democracy, and is striving to become authoritarian".

The EU is wonderful, I give them tremendous credit for pushing back against the US, and each and every nation has a responsibility to just say no to the morally bankrupt orange creep.

Such a sad post, such a pathetic attempt to defend an indefensible man.
