With all the anti news coming out of Pattaya these days, I wonder why so many flock to this ars....le of a resort! Certainly not quality tourists.

In the later years of my time in Thailand I wasn't really 'up for' dalliances with the ladies (or anyone). I also come to the conclusion that hanging-out in bars where that is on offer isn't a good thing to do if you're not 'up for' such things. It is assumed that if you're in such places that must be what you're lookin for, and you will become a target for unwanted attention.

And avoid withdrawing any sizeable from an atm after dark (especially outside a 7-11). !

What an idiot! You do know Thailand has very tough sex laws, from age of concent being 19! Don't believe the hype. People looking for underage sex go to Cambodia or south America. Try watching "The Sound of Freedom".

I would actually add, if you are withdrawing any substantial amount, go to a real bank and find an ATM INSIDE the building, not on the streets.
