I recall when stalls were selling Osama Bin Laden T-shirts....    I thought at the time...  there's a segment of society here that is incredibly juvenile and insensitive to world events.

She can sell what she wants to sell.  I really wonder what kind of idiot would want to walk around with a putin or hitler shirt on knowing full well it would likely offend a lot of people.  Why go out of your way to potentially get punched out?  Maybe some of them are actively looking for a fight?  Do it long enough and sooner or later the wish will likely come true.

Heck i don't even wear any clothes with any logo at all i really don't feel the need to advertise some brand or look like a walking billboard and i sure as heck don't wear anything the least bit political and never will.

I am going to quote you, in response to what I wrote ... "You didn't understand or chose not to."

Don't bother you anymore?   I'm responding to you?   Will you block me?

Give up - no further unnecessary interchange has value

No, don't block anyone

Why is it our fault you are offended by Hitler shirts?

Give up what?   Your claiming that I can't read and understand what I read?

Perhaps you did not write exactly what you meant.   You knew what you meant in your mind, but it didn't come out that way on screen.

Good for you on not blocking anyone.   I haven't blocked anyone in these forums either.  The only people I have ever blocked were scammers on facebook and scammers that contact me on my cell phone.

So, does that mean when a leftist claims someone is giving out, misinformation, they are claiming that the the someone is lying?

Yes.

So, your claim that "Trump would prohibit any speech he disagrees with."  How is that not, "misinformation"?  Do you have any factual evidence that he would do that?

That is not "misinformation" because it's true for the most part. To make it entirely true, I'd have to change that to "Trump will try to prohibit much of the speech with which he disagrees."
Yes, I have "evidence" that I believe is factual. CNN is full of that.

I don't care what she sells  but are the t shirts legal, in Thailand.

Read the OP again. The HE was a woman!

Man or woman, entirely up to them to choose whatever they want to sell.

What a shame this Thai lady cannot read this forum and see the utter madness of the farang. On this thread we've had everything from poster claiming he's helping good to triumph over evil to defend his RAF ancestors by attacking some poor woman selling t-shirts, to those claiming Trump is the real problem... I mean it's almost as bad as if you, a foreigner, go up to a shop owner to lecture her about the content of her T-shirt  being offensive to you, the visitor in the country.

If she read all this drivel she'd no doubt go "Arena, Farang crazy ah?"....And she'd be right. Lol.

If you think these t-shirts are a threat to the safety of the world perhaps you need to work on your psychological issues.

I think the shop owners where a Male and Female -  They do have the right to sell whatever they chose within the legal confines.

However, thats the whole point of the thread and initial discussion - There's a moral grey area in which such images exists - Pol Pot, Che, Osama etc have all been mentioned in this discussion, then there are the 'language T-shirt's'...  It is accepted to walk around with a T-shirt that says F**K the World or perhaps worse ?

This all falls under freedom of speech and freedom of expression and in order to maintain that we also have to respect it and think.

Foreigners have no right whatsoever to be telling locals what they can or cannot sell. Extreme arrogance.

Yes! CNN is my main source of news—90% or more. The only other sources I have are Facebook, AseanNow Forums, and other social media sites. I read the articles and comments on these, and some are interesting and indeed may be true, but I don't accept any of that as actual fact. CNN is my source for that.

What sources do you have that you accept as fact?

The RAF? I wouldn't admit to that publicly if  I were you.

Yes, I'm sure in the great battle of good and evil you are the winged avenger who will help virtue and good to triumph. Do me a favour, take your cape, go home, and leave this poor woman alone and let her sell her shirts for a few baht. It's hard enough to make a living for Thais without people like you imposing your morality delusion on the actual citizens of the country!

The caped crusader, thwarting evil 😀😀

They're a threat to common decency - something you appear not to care about.

"Decency" is  a malleable and flexible concept. Once person's "decency" is another person's stupidity.

Much like morality is dependent on perspective. To the snake eating the mouse it's just dinner, to the mouse it's cold blooded murder.

The problem arises when some people feel their interpretation of "decency" or morality has an absolute value. Those days are gone.

The left, pushing the steele dossier as truth about Trump.   Turns out it was the left and hillary paid to have the lies disseminated.

The left, pushing, the hunter biden laptop is russian propaganda. Supported by news and democrat politicians.   Turns out that it was misinformation but claiming it was, was democrat propaganda, AKA misinformation.

How about leftist opinion that Trump is a racist and hates blacks, when he had received honors from black organizations.   The leftist "opinion" about Trump is, leftist "misinformation"!

Sorry I do not understand what you are babbling on about.

Apparently I should have the right to march into any shop in Asia and demand they stop selling Obama T-shirts, and smack 'em around if they don't comply, maybe even burn their shop down if I'm feeling especially virtuous.

For freedom!
