The climate is actually cooling.

The so called warming narrative is a 1000% psyop that empowers the Elites to extract whatever mound of bills they see fit from your bank account.

Many properties in Florida are a great buy right now.

Waiting for the uptick, as usual.

Global warming is the Second Law of Thermodynamics in action. Climate change is the First Law of Thermodynamics.

About 95% of scientists agree climate change is real. The other 5% probably work for the fossil fuel industry.

Globally, less than 1.5% of people have had an education that includes a grounding in thermodynamics. It's therefore hardly surprising ignorance reigns supreme.

Not remotely doomed as long as it continues to exploit it's natural resources sensibly, and limits immigration only to those of good character and good intentions.

Good for Trump with all his tariffs but all over Europe we see boycotting of American produce.this ain’t going to go away quickly,on the contrary,Europeans will get used to buy and replace American products and will not go back too buy American. On the other hand Trump

The prices in US will rise, then the inflation, followed by wages, followed by interest rates:

Result is recession.

Slowing economy, problems for the government.

I don't think the USA (not all of America) is definitely "doomed," but I do think my home country is absolutely confronting some very troubling times right now.

To me, it is somewhat ironic the nation with the world's most formidable military probably needs it the least in terms of defence. Oceans east and west, friendly neighbors north and south.

It is also self-sufficient in terms of food and energy.

The only way it can be screwed up is by its government.

Agreed.

Or Ukrainian wheat

Neither EU or UK use USA wheat any more, i think. THE UK's top 9 sources of imported wheat do not include the USA. I guess the only countries which need it are those suffering severe drought and famine. And those rely on USAID programs ... oh crap, there gonna starve.

The track Green Onions was by Booker T and the MGs. It is an instrumental featuring Hammond organ and a great guitar solo.

What has that got to do with the OP please?

Georgie Fame served up a cool version of “Green Onions “ on his 1965 album “Fame at Last”.

I recently rediscovered the song (and album) and it seemed more relevant today than in 1979.

Take that archaic Monroe doctrine and that marshal plan that says we're supposed to police force the world and throw it out...lets stay home for the next 10 years !!!!!!!  that version   of "Green Onions"  ?

Ok I just listed to the Georgie Fame version  and it is good  but I think I still prefer the Booker T  version.

Originals usually are better, that's the way the artist wanted it to be.

No one cares what you do in Europe.  Europe is irrelevant.

when i was growing up in the fifties, sixties it was a great country for the middle classes.  now America is a shadow of its former self. the Chinese will one day own it. parts of L.A. now look like New Delhi. so much homeless.  America does not take care o its own including its veterans. just more military spending and tax cuts for the rich who own the system.

Doom started when Carte didn't het reelected and a rapidly growing part of the electorate displayed a rapidly dropping IQ. A country that loses self esteem is always dangerous, just like Russia and now the US.

Right now EU should definitely explore alliances with China.

The only reason we have not been aligning stronger with China has been the foreign policy pull of the USA, with us being "allies", so naturally the Europeans tried to stay on the same page (even though it makes little trade benefit).

China has tried several times to make overtures to the EU via its Silk Road 2.0 initiative. While that one might be a poison pill for third world countries, catching them in a debt spiral to China (and forcing them into China's zone of influence), Europe being on the end point would only make trade cheaper and stronger.

And with American goods getting a lot more expensive due to the tariffs, of course, Europe will connect ever more strongly with China in the near future. There is simply no alternative.

I am not sure that this is what Trumps really want, but hitting your allies in the face will make them question pretty fast, if the US is the right partner in the 21st century for growth and success.

There's no way Trump, or anyone else, can make America great again. He's a great showman and hyperactive, but I don't think there will be any tangible benefit for the vast majority of Americans. Most of the disruption he causes works in China's favor in any case.
