Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding the financial requirement for the DTV visa. My funds are currently spread across multiple bank accounts outside of Thailand. I already have a Krungsri account that I opened years ago when I was on an ED visa.

Would it be acceptable to transfer 500,000 THB to my Thai bank account while applying, in order to meet the financial requirement? Or do they allow proof of funds from overseas accounts instead?

Has anyone gone through this process successfully?

You can show proof of the money in a foreign account, it does not have to be a Thai bank.

Thinking this would be your best option.

The 500k requirement is not written clearly.

Does not definitely state if seasoning is involved. 

Just have the 500k in bank account prior to application and be able to provide bank statement.
