Been living here for over 20 years, worked many years with the Thai's. 

 

I've travelled to over 40 countries, Thai's are the friendliest, warmest people I've ever met. 

 

Early days the Thai's loved us, couldn't do enough for us foreigners. 

If they hate us, it's justified, some of bloody foreigners here make me sick, pathetic, lowlife humans.

They aren’t really specific on which foreigners to hate either be they westerners or Asians . But one thing people should learn with Thai men is their levels of sensitivity, emotional immaturity and their low alcohol tolerance. Also it’s quite normal for them to only get into a fight or start one when the numbers are way in their favour, whether that be against foreigners or fellow Thais . And if you go down , the fight is not over even if you are unconscious as all the real cowardly ones will come in with the head kicks even without originally being involved or knowing the circumstances.

Great to see they finally posted another OP for the foreigner bashers to grovel and complain over. It was getting boring reading all the Thai bashing in other OPs. Since no one really knows what started it all or why the video clip begins with the foreigner hitting the Thai first. It is safe to say that there was something more that happened before that is not being shown. Therefore, the incident could have begin outside of the video shown and the only thing shared was the portion that makes the foreigner look bad.

I am the devils advocate for you all. But why i need to be is unclear since it has been proven in other incidences about portions of videos being left out to make the news a good attack or to make the Thai justified for actions such as this.

Assumption # 387. Again, since it isn't getting through, I speak what is. If a friend was getting beat up, I would of course help him, especially if it was an uneven contest. If it was 5 against him, I would do whatever it took to take out all of them. You don't understand what some expats here are about, and for your sake, it may be better for you that you don't find out. One things for sure, and that's you're consistent. Are you saying that the above information is inaccurate and that the  area where the  event occurred is a safe area at night and can be relied upon to attract the  fine upstanding  citizens of the area?  Drinking on the street, leaving bottles lying about, dressed like they live on handouts, and brawling is hardly the sign of a safe and quality area. 

 

 The fact is that no one really cares. They could get run over in the next hour and they would be forgotten about by the next day. No one is going to lose sleep over them as they will sort themselves out either through violent deaths or  lifestyle diseases.

& it’s still the same - just not on these areas where idiot tourist frequent.

 

Lets face it, these area’s attract the worst of both foreign and local characters. 

 

Elsewhere, in Thailand, blending into the polite culture & harmoniously interacting with the Thai’s is the norm. 
 

These examples we see are newsworthy but ultimately outliers of the real experiences here - which is why you, I & many of us who live here, trouble free & have many genuine Thai friends.
