Sorry about that. I couldn't stop myself. I know I should have had a tantrum and proclaim the end of civilization instead. Excuse me while I sit on the naughty step for a few hours with an I hate Trump hat on

Duh, someone has to make the stuff in America first that people might buy.. Bullying trading partners to buy something is the stuff of gangster shakedown movies. There's usually a lot of bloodshed in those movies also.

You just gotta try and not equate every post critical of the moron in the WH with hating the US. It's lame and obvious and doesn't convince anybody.

  It's called "projection."

The ignorant cheerleaders on here applauding the ongoing destruction of the USA are the anti-Americans.

Yes, about that:

March jobs report: U.S. adds 228,000 new jobs — but that was before Trump’s tariff event

https://www.marketwatch.com/livecoverage/march-2025-jobs-powell-today/card/march-jobs-report-u-s-adds-228-000-new-jobs-but-that-was-before-big-tariffs-4fKmmC2gibQC9hZaexDO

The increase in hiring was concentrated in companies that tend to see pickup in business when the weather warms. Unusually cold weather in the first two months of the year depressed employment.

The unemployment rate, meanwhile, moved up to 4.2% from 4.1%, matching the highest rate in five months.

The latest snapshot of the labor market was taken before Trump announced the biggest U.S. tariffs since the Great Depression in the 1930s.

American arrogance has always been around and much before Trump. Sorry. I

n fact, he is more open to a informal chat then some of the others before him in office.

And if he has crashed the dollar, nothing better for exporting and reboosting american industries.

Time has come for America to leave the world alone and let each nation handle it's own issues with no USA meddling. Sorry, no offense please.

That would work... IF the raw materials for the stuff the US makes were sourced in the USA. But....

PS Russia is noticeable by its absence from the increased tariff list. Who do you think told Trump to make this move?

Doesn't work that way when you alienate all your allies with the moronic crap he's doing and they retaliate with like tariffs and boycotts of US products.

You should use quotes on stuff you lift from others.

Bet you are just praying for an economic crash, arent you?

Wonder what your "but" will be on the next news.
